Only 2 days left for the Hug Swap sign up!

Have you joined up yet? If you're thinking you can fit another little swap in, please email Vicki or I in the next 36 hours before the sign up ends.

For those who have signed up already - are you using our designs, or something of your own? Paula has very kindly designed a cute fairy for the Mug Hug that you may like to use, and will also be sharing a teddy bear stitchery in a day or so that she designed for use on the Mug Mat! Thank you, Paula!

Today I may have a play around with THIS quilt top. I love the Churn Dash block and have wanted to use it in a vintage style quilt for a while now, so I think I'll make this one.

What are you making today?
Do you have a favourite block?

Hugs

  1. The only thing I've done today is make the basement all clean and plan to make pizza casserole for supper. After that, I think I need a nap LOL.

  3. I cut off that 1/2 inch and then sewed the first row together. If you want to check it out it's pictured on my blog. It went together really easy after you fixed the instructions, and Thanks!!!

Never heard of Pizza casserole, but it sure does sound good. Any recipes out there??

  4. I'm using your designs of course, yours and Vicki's. I need to find a fabric to use.
Love the churn dash too - but I want to do some wonky ones. I have a Mary Lou Weidman book for that. It's on my list of someday projects, lol.
Today I was machine embroidering, and cutting cutting cutting! I'm so tired of cutting. :(

  5. I saw that churn dash quilt and seriously thought about it, but I have too many projects unfinished at the moment so am trying to be a good girl.

No sewing today. Laundry and housework before I go off to work the late shift.

    Enjoy your day!!

I am back into hand embroidery again. If I am in a hurry, I machine embroider, but I have missed the hand embroidery so much.
I still have your shabby roses BOM to do, but I want to add my own little touches as well!!!!

  8. Actually, I LOVE the churn dash block too! And I particularly love that pattern since it is with the figgy pudding fabrics. I think I might even have that magazine somewhere around my house. Thanks for sharing.

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
