After the dance, and something new...

She had a fantastic time! Of course she wasn't keen to be photographed when she got home - "Mum, I'm a mess now. I've been dancing for hours!"...but she smiled anyhow and let me snatch one photo.
After a good sleep she was excited to see that I was making her all-time favourite treat, Cinnamon Scrolls, for our Valentines Day morning and afternoon teas. Here they are almost risen and ready to bake...
...and here are the gorgeous pillows of strawberry iced scrolls before they were gobbled up!
I gave Mr Elefantz a box of Cadbury's Roses chocolates and he kindly shared them with me. :-) It's been ages since I had chocolate...mmmm, they were yummy!

This week I finished another new Dilly Dally Daisy design...
 It definitely has a romantic air to it, don't you agree? It seemed fitting to finish it on Valentines Day.
How to display it has been holding me back from the final stitches lately...a wallhanging? A bag? Diary cover? I couldn't decide so it has been sitting for weeks now needing just a few green flower stems to be stitched, and all because I couldn't decide it's final home.
Today I knew...
 The pattern is yet to be written up, but perhaps later next week.
~~~~~
I have more wonderful projects from gifted ladies who have used my designs in different ways.
Jeanette used the blocks from my Wonky Houses wallhanging to make a gorgeous cushion...
Dricca used the *peace* block from my Shabby Roses quilt to make a really pretty cushion...
 ..and Maribel made this lovely bag for her daughter using the *inspire*, *believe*, and *roses* blocks from Shabby Roses!
I pray your Valentines Day was one of joy at being with those you love.
Hugs
Jenny
I'm so glad Blossom had fun at the dance. She looks so pretty and how nice to wake up to a favourite treat fresh from the oven.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours. I love the new stitchery with the lace gloves - so elegant.
You have such a wonderful blog! Your daughter is beautiful (pretty girl wearing a pretty dress . . . and very cool sandals!). Love your new embellished redwork. So unique, using lace for the gloved hand! Oh yes, and lovely baked treats.
Blossom looks great and I love the "frock". I can't believe how alike the two of you are. Your profile photo has just the same tilt of the head.
It sounds like your house was the place to be yesterday with those scrummy looking scrolls and, as always, your latest project is divine.
Blossom looks beautiful - wish I looked that good when I'm tired, lol! Love the dress and especially those SHOES!
Yummy treats for tea, and how nice of Mr. Elefantz to share with you!
Jenny, your new Dilly Dally Daisy design is PERFECT - love the lace - reminds me of all the gloves my grandma used to wear. The frame fits it perfectly!
The projects are super - guess what I'm doing today? I'm hand-stitching the binding on my Shabby Roses! I can't wait to show you, I love it SO much! It's going to hang above my bed.
