Lazing on a Saturday afternoon....

Sweet friend Vikki sent me this tea at Christmas. When  you open the packet the air fills with the aroma of plum pudding...
We thought we'd try it now instead of waiting till next Christmas, so Blossom had the idea to move the table and chairs from the back verandah to the front yard for our afternoon tea....
Only two chairs? Bob-the-dog wondered where he'd be sitting...
A favoured un-pressed vintage tablecloth was added to transform our rustic table...
...then bit by bit we carried our tea things outside to the table.
Sweet 'Iced Vo Vo' biscuits look tempting...
If only you could have joined us. You would have been most welcome. Maybe next time?
Hugs
Jenny & Blossom

Simply lovely, lovely. Love the tablecloth, the teapot and cups, and the charming setting. Can you see me here turning green with envy. It's just as sweet a scene as can be. And sharing it with your daughter? How much better can it get?

Jenny and Blossom, what a lovely afternoon tea it looked like you both had. And such a glorious day to sit outside and make the most of the weather. If that had been us today we would have had to have a canopy over us to keep away the chilly wind and drizzle, it would certainly have watered down the tea. What yummy biscuits they looked, I haven't seen anything like those before which might be just as well-lol.

Oh yes please ... count me in for a tea party any time.

Actually, hoping for a trip to your neck of the woods later in the year - but don't know yet whether it will work out, and how close I will be to you! Wouldn't that be so great to actually have a tea party together?!

Hugs,
Fee :-)

I can bring my own teacup and maybe some scones and lemon curd to add to your lovely Tea.
Your setting is wonderful, as are the teapot and the embroidered cloth. Your biscuits look yummy. Did you make them?

Lovely and so inviting! Everything looks so sweet. Wish I could share tea and sweets with my daughters, grands and greatgrands! They live to far away but I'll think of them when I sip. Enjoy your day!
