Show & Tell, some stitching, and swaps...

Two very lovely ladies sent me photos for my belated Friday Show and Tell this week.
...and Beverly has finished my Daisy-Do wallhanging. I love how she added the jumbo ric-rac down the sides!

Well done ladies! Both of your projects are so pretty!

My dear friend Fee will be a grandmother for the 4th time early next year, and when she told me it was going to be a baby girl I couldn't resist stitching this birth sampler pattern by Natalie Lymer that appeared in a recent issue of Homespun...
I wanted brighter colours in my version, and pinks had to be a feature. I haven't stitched the baby's name yet, but will do that once she's born and I have a date to add...

A beautiful parcel arrived this week from Peg. She was my secret swap partner in Maree's Christmas Swap....

After the week we've had I decided to open all the gifts at once and enjoy the blessings Peg had sent me.
There was a box of Darrel Lea Christmas Candies too, but they disappeared so fast! Yum!!
Thanks so much, sweet Peg! You really added a lovely light to my week. I love everything, and so appreciate the time and care you add to all your gifts!
~~~~~
I have also been blessed with more beautiful daily gifts from Carol, my Advent Swap partner...
 These vintage buttons belonged to Carol's mum, so I will treasure them!!
Thank you Carol...you have spoiled me! :-)
~~~~~
As soon as Carol has opened all her Advent gifts I will show you what I sent her.
~~~~~
Have a blessed weekend.
Hugs
Jenny
Enjoy your lovely gifts.
I'm only just catching up in blogland and was saddened by your news ... a very hard choice to make.
Oh Jen, that sampler pattern for the baby is just adorable.
AND serious drooling going on over here seeing you got some Lumiere de Noel fabric. That was what I REALLY loved but in the end decided not to get. I will buy fabric when I actually have time to sew it!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas ... will give you a call in the New Year.
Love and hugs,
Fee x
