Show & Tell...and a few bits more!

It's Friday Show & Tell once more! :-)
Remember my Little Bird free design? Elaine has stitched up a whole nest full and made them into gift cards! What a clever idea, Elaine!
~~~~~
Now to some of my own show & tell...
My eldest daughter, Kezzie, loved it remade in the brighter colours, so I finished it off as a door hanger for her family this Christmas. It's so pretty, and can be kept hanging all year through.
 Only one more block to stitch in my new Shabby Roses themed quilt, "Circle of Life'. Another sneak peek for you...
The final block will be the large centre block...sooooo pretty!
~~~~~
My 9yo grandson, Cal, is an avid artist who has shown a natural gift since he was very small. I found this fabulous vintage-style circus tent fabric a while back...
...and last night used it to cover a large sketch pad for my sweet grandson!
Next year I am going to be designing a quilt using some really funky cows that Cal drew me almost 3 years ago! I know you're going to love it. :-)
~~~~~
Christmas is approaching, but we've not begun the decorating yet - perhaps next week - but Blossom and I did purchase a new ornament yesterday. It expresses just how we feel about the coming celebration of Christ's birth!
And lastly, let me show you the bunch of roses I bought yesterday at 50% off. I can't afford to buy flowers at full price, but most Thursdays our local supermarket (where Blossom works) they reduce all their cut flowers by 50% before the next delivery arrives.
I put them in the vase, and they immediately settled into a ring, and the verse "Ring-a-ring of rosies..." came to mind...
~~~~~
Have a wonderful weekend!
Remember to look for JOY in all you do, and be blessed by it.
Hugs
Jenny

PS: Hanna, you bought a pattern from me on Monday but everytime I email it to you I get the message that there is no such email address. Can you leave me a message on Etsy with an email address I can use. Thanks! :-)

Lovely Jenny! What a fun gift for Cal too!!! The new ornament will be perfect for your tree. Oh am I so far behind this year! Oy!
Love the roses too and it made me think of a quote. "God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December." Of course, if you live in Australia, you do have roses in December! hee,hee,hee.
Hugs to you beautiful lady!
your friend,

I love your "Joy" ornament. We haven't done much decorating yet, either, but that would inspire me!
