Stitcheries, stitcheries!

I love stitcheries - especially if there is a bit of applique added in to the design. But, if you're a regular blog reader you probably already suspected that?
A weekend away with Mr E is in my future, so I have had to make sure each design for Issue 11 of Elefantz HOME Magazine is ticked off my list before I start packing.
If you're a stitching fanatic (like me!), then you'll love this coming "Stitches" issue.
I've already shared in a previous post that inside Issue 11 will be the complete Shabby Roses Alphabet in a large project...
...as well as ideas on using the alphabet for gifts.
Also in this coming issue you'll find three more Shabby Rose designs!
Each of the stitcheries will be in a small project, but I wonder what you'd make with the heart block? Or the candle? Or the evening bag?
Leave a comment and let me know - you may inspire me! If I use one of your ideas to finish a block you'll receive a $20 voucher to spend in my online Shop!
If a few of you share the same idea for a project I'll give the voucher to the first person who leaves their comment.

Yesterday Mr E and I went on a long ride with the Ulysses. First stop was Bluewater Springs for a cup of tea and some chat time...
There were only 9 of us this weekend - two of us were pillion wives.
It was a 350 kilometre ride in very windy conditions, so my shoulders and neck are feeling a bit sore today. Fortunately, the best cure is to curl up on the couch with some episodes of Poirot and stitch some pretties. It's working a treat. ;-)

Happy Birthday today to my gorgeous friend, Fee!!!
Make sure you drop by her blog and leave a greeting. She's one of the kindest, most generous and loving women I have ever met.
I made Fee a wall-hanging from one of Shell's sweet Little Houses designs...
Last month I was in an Easter swap with a small group of friends (I shared what Carol made me HERE).
It was a secret swap, and my partner was Dale. I made her a wall-hanging which featured one of Kaaren's First Friday Freebies...
Kaaren designed this whilst undergoing chemotherapy, and as much as I love all her work, I think this is my favourite. It was a delight to stitch it for Dale!

I hope you have a wonderful week! I'll be back in the next day or so with some Show & Tell. If you've made an Elefantz design and would like a photo of it featured here on my blog be sure to email it to me, or leave a comment below with a link to your blog if you have a photo of the design on there.
Hugs
Jenny

Hi Jenny.
I'd use the design to make a wheat warmer cover for my Mum. That way if she feels cold, she will have my love and the wheat to warm her.

I'd use the shabby heart pattern for the ring-bearer's pillow in my daughter's wedding this summer! Just love hearts and your pattern is wonderful!!!

Jenny, I would use all of them is a crazy quilt....they would be perfect for a project I want to do for my oldest grandchild that graduates from college this month.
I also think they would make a wonderful grouping for a bathroom or dressing room. I love them!

You have been busy. Love your version of Kaaren's pattern. Sweet!
That heart is stunning.I OOOed and Awwwed when I saw it.
I think it would definitely make a beautiful pillow but table runner with a heart on both ends would be pretty for Valentine's day.
I am sure you have some fabulous ideas in your head.

oops, forgot to mention that shabby heart will be going on a little cushiony thingy that will get a ribbon handle and hang off the end of the bed post smelling of lavender from my garden and maybe with beads hanging down in pretty pinks.....hmmm...
