Sundays are for...

Sunday started cold, so I skipped an early morning ride on the bike.
Later though, it warmed beautifully and Mr E rode us up the mountain for a morning tea under the trees with some friends. Wish we could do this every day.

Home by lunch and an idea that's been roaming 'round my head was put on paper, and from there I just had to start block preparations.
Oh my, this is going to be gorgeous. Six blocks drawn up, another six to come.

First peek of "Shabby Angels"....

Are you joining in on the Betsy's Closet stitch-a-long
We have 35 signed on already!
You can find the link for the blog page over there in the right hand side bar->
Just click on the Betsy's Closet photo.
I'm going to be busy for the rest of the month so I took time out to finish blocks one and two this week...

Cute, huh?
They are addictive to stitch, so I have hidden my project box away till September 1st so I can finish my real work. ;-)

Big news! I discovered Pinterest.
I know - you're saying, "Jenny, where have you been, girl!? Pinterest is amazing!"
Yep, it's amazing alrighty, so I have given myself a time limit each day to browse drool over boards 'cause otherwise I'll get nothing else done and Mr E will be living on baked beans!
You can find my Pinterest page HERE.
~~~~~
Have a great week wherever you are. It's a big one for us - Blossom comes home from England on Wednesday night! \o/\o/
See you very soon.
Hugs
Jenny
Oh my, that seems like such a short trip for Blossom. I'm sure she will be sleeping off jet lag for a while. How wonderful to have her back with so much to tell you and show you.
Your new project sounds like another winner - can't wait to see it.
*Thanks for the white and easy text.*
Hi Jenny, what a lovely way to start your day :)
I`m a new follower, your Blog is sooooo wonderful !
I also liked your last post about doilies very much.
If you want to look on my blog http://pasttimechildhood.blogspot.de/
you can see what I did today with a doily.
I dressed a old teddy, for the collar I used a doily and removed the centre piec, from the outside I made the lace collar and the centre piece I added to the little bag she is holding.
I hope you like it :)
I just received my Betsy in Stitches pattern the other day but I'm afraid I won't be able to join because it will take me way longer to finish it than the deadline. My first priority is to COMPLETELY finish the Promises and Borders Quilt. You know how it goes, too many projects going at one time!
I too just recently found Pinterest. I could browse on there all day so I have to limit myself.
Have a great week!
