M is for Mother...plus some extra free designs!

Here in Australia we will be celebrating Mothers Day on Sunday, May 12th, so it's quite appropriate to be sharing 'M' in Monogram Monday this week!

I have stitched it onto my Sampler, which is now half finished.
You can download the M template HERE.

But, I also wanted to show you a couple of ways you could stitch this for your mum (or a friend) as a gift.
This is a scissor fob I stitched for me sweet friend Michelle of Raspberry Rabbits a couple of years ago. The white on white is so pretty and delicate...
I also stitched a slightly different version of the M in colours that accented a jewelled frame I'd purchased...
If you'd like to stitch this original version of my Shabby Roses M, you can download it free HERE in my shop.
As a little bonus, you might also like to stitch this very simple 'Oopsie Daisies' heat pack cover for your mum...
I shared both designs back in 2010, but decided it would be nice to share them again.
You can download the pattern for the 'Oopsie Daisies' heat pack cover HERE.

Have a blessed and happy week, and remember to smile lots because you are beautiful, even if you don't know it, and your smile lights up the hearts of all who love you!

Hugs
Jenny

  6. You are always so generous! It was fun to see the other versions of the M. Mother's Day is coming up here in May, too, but I have no mothers left, so I'll see if my boys even remember. LOL There's a lady in our church I ought to make something for, though. She is just the sweetest inspiration to me.

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
hugs
Jenny
