You clever girls...and look what's back!

Show & Tell is one of my favourite blog posts because I get to see what YOU made from my designs.

Kathy has chosen her fabrics and made a start on block 1, and she's using polka dots - I love polka dots!

The stitching has begun on Block 1 of my other BOM, "Daisy Days", too!
I love the fact that some of the participants are doing their own thing with my block. Gabriella has decided to use just one colour thread throughout, and the results are beautiful...
Nancy Jo has chosen to use variegated Cottage Garden threads for the daisies, and it's just as beautiful!
Its so inspiring to see my design stitched in different ways...

Do you remember my very first Shabby Roses BOM quilt?
Patty made it for her niece, also named Jenny, as a graduation gift - wow. What a precious auntie you are, Patty!

Last year's free BOM, "Promises & Borders", was so popular that I regularly see blocks from it popping up all over the web!
The idea behind the BOM was that you could stitch each of the nine feature blocks with their floral border and Scripture promise inside, or you could just use the border and add your own verse or Scripture to make it personal.
Kristi used one of my borders and added a line from a hymn. This was a gift to her daughter's piano teacher who is also their church pianist. Isn't that so special!?

Have you finished an Elefantz design and would like to have your photo shared here on my blog?
Just email me the picture, or leave me a comment with your email address and I'll contact you.
It's all rather simple, you see.

For your information the original designs for the projects above are:

Daisy Days BOM - HERE
Promises & Borders free BOM - HERE

and...

I've re-released my original Shabby Roses Quilt pattern today HERE in my shop!
I designed this quilt in 2009, and re-made it in 2011.
Because it was my very first quilt design, and is now 4 years old, I've listed the full quilt with all 12 blocks for just $8, as an instant PDF download.
If you're after a project that can be made as one large quilt, or you'd like 12 inspirational designs for use in different projects of your own choosing, then this pattern will bless you as it fulfills both purposes.
Shabby Roses Quilt HERE in my Craftsy Shop from today.

Now, back to the sewing room for me. I have another grandson's cooking apron to make!
Enjoy this glorious God-gifted day,
Hugs

Jenny

I can't wait for this pattern to arrive and get started. I'm feeling a little left out at the moment :)

These are all beautiful. It's nice to see all the different interpretations we have of the same basic work. Gives me an opportunity to start thinking about my own interpretation.

Thanks to everyone for sharing and Jenny for giving us a place to share.

I'm always happy when I wait a little longer and look at what others have done with a design. It inspires me to open my horizons. I'm a linear thinker, and I need that help to see things a new way! Thanks for the great designs you offer us. I'm going to check out the Shabby Roses download now!
