A year's worth of tutorials...

Over the next week I will be cleaning up my blog, emptying my pattern shop of old patterns, and giving everything a fresh look for 2014.

Today I worked on refreshing my tutorials page which covers most of the ones I've shared since 2009.
As I went through them I was surprised at how many I shared in 2013!

Lavender wardrobe sachets...

A storage bag for sheet sets...

A cover for a household binder or large folder...

A journal cover...

How to use fussy cut fabrics in your block piecing...

Preparing a block for blanket stitch applique...

Making a heat pack using a doily, a zipper and some favourite fabric...

How to have neat finishes to your machine quilting...

How to make a Bow Tie block...

...a Zig Zag border....

...and a Bears Paw block!

There was a simple tutorial to make a split 9-patch table runner...

...as well as this sweet framed calendar display...

...and my 5-day tutorial on building a design from idea to finished pattern!

Wow - I was busy!
All these tutorials and many more can be found HERE on my Tutorials page.

In 2014 I plan to share some embroidery tutorials; taking you step by step through some of my favourite stitches. We'll being later this week with the one I am asked most about - back stitch! - so drop by if you've ever wondered why I love it and use it so much.

It's the Year of the Stitch at Elefantz...

...but more about that in a few days. I think you'll love what's in store for us here at Elefantz this year!

Jenny,
I am SO excited to see all you have planned for us this year! I especially look forward to the embroidery tutorials as it has been YEARS since I have embroidered and my back-stitch (the only thing I remember) is REALLY rusty, lol. Thank you for all you do!
