Roaming my garden...

The tropical wet season has had a couple of false starts, but nothing like we're used to at this time of the year. The rain is scarce, and it's hot all the time.
But the garden is coping rather well, so I thought I'd share a few pics from my roaming around the front and back yards this week...

My kale seedlings have sprouted beautifully and will be ready for our breakfast nutriblasts very soon...

All my herbs are doing great too, and just today I saw that the many pots of coriander (cilantro) I planted last week are filled with newly sprouted seeds.
Hopefully we'll get a cloudy day this weekend. Mr E and I want (need) to go for a good long ride but it's been way too hot lately. Our bike waits patiently under the decking, just near some herbs...

I have no roses in my garden but I did find this elegant $1 glass rose bauble at an op shop recently. It's become the perfect bloom for my sewing room...

Thank you for all the beautifully heart-felt comments and private emails after THIS blog post.
What lovely souls you are. I hope I have encouraged you as much as you encourage me. xx

Tomorrow I have some sneak peeks to show of something rather special, but for now, back to some stitching while I watch the tennis with Mr E!
hugs

I wish the computer screen was a scratch and "sniff" but instead of sniff I'd like to feel the warmth. Gorgeous flowers, real and glass. Enjoy your day.

Your garden is lovely! But, do you have snakes? I always hear that Australia has so many bad snakes. Is this true?
