Tea inspiration...

As this week is all about tea, I've been inspired to create with tea cups in mind.
This new design will feature in April's Stitchery Club patterns...

Stacked cups on a vintage doily with ???....you'll have to wait a little while to see.

I've also been sampling something new in my cuppa. Mr E found this ginger syrup for me and I have to admit, it's *yummy*....

I try not to indulge in sugar very often so only a teaspoon of the ginger syrup is added to my teacup but it definitely adds some decadence to my afternoon drop...

Tea Etiquette number 2 from Maxwell & Williams (the blue tea cup above is "Bluebells" by M & W and my current favourite as the cups hold a good amount of the amber fluid and it's just plain gorgeous to boot!)...

hugs

Your new pattern with those tiny stacked cups is sweet.

Fun tea etiquette. I like the sound of swishing the spoon through the liquid.

Ooooh, didn't know that. The Mother and Miss H are definitely 'Clinkers'. That'll have to stop!

I always love anything to do with tea! The new design looks lovely and the Bluebells teacup is so sweet. I do love M&W designs - but I have managed to resist temptation so far!

Jenny I am enjoying the Tea etiquette ... I once blogged about some teacup teddies I made that sit in Maxwell & Williams teacups ... & I was contacted by the management of Maxwell & Williams to say how beautiful they looked :-)
I was thinking you might enjoy the cup of tea I often partake of ... it is pleasant tasting, very refreshing & a good liver/kidney cleanser. I slice a thickish piece of root ginger & add some freshly picked parsley, then pour boiling water over & let cool a little before drinking. Surprisingly it is very lovely tasting.

Eric loves ginger. We have been using Ginger People products for years. They are the best ginger brand out there that we have found. Their product line is amazing. Which is what your new embroidery pattern looks like...
amazing. How do you keep coming up with ideas? I just love them.

This is fun! I look forward to seeing what the "something else" is on that design, of course! Beautiful cup.

I like ginger lemon tea when I'm not feeling well. I've never heard of ginger syrup though. Sounds yummy!

What a delightful post. My grandma lived with us and I have many fond memories also.
