...7, 8, 9, complete!

I've had some of the best down-time this week as I stitched my new "Little Things" pattern.
I deliberately took this one slow because the message within urged me to savour every little part of the design and stitching process.

From choosing threads...

...to studying the balance of colours...

...and down to the final touches.
A vintage button?

Or a tiny half inch hexie?

The hexie won out.

I love it.
This could be my favourite design for 2016 so far.

The pattern will be inside August's issue of The Stitchery Club along with a powerful quote from the woman whose life and dedication to the poorest of the poor impacted my life in more ways than I can say, Mother Teresa...

These designs will also be available as single purchase patterns from August 17th, but why not join the Club and receive six new 'be inspired' stitcheries in one day?
Information and sign up link is here.

Have a blessed day.

I, too, really love this design. The colors are so pretty and the little hexies are just adorable, especially the second layer in the tiny print, so perfect! Diane from Minnesota

This is such a perfect message and your design is perfect. I really do like the double Hexies instead of the bright red button. I am so thankful I am part of your amazing Stitchery Club. Thank You Dear Jenny!!!

Hi Jenny, these are gorgeous designs and stitching, love all the colours too, awaiting arrival of new granddaughter along with health recovery has given you a wonderful creative time to enjoy. Oh what is the tiny pretty print fabric used in the smallest hexi. All good wishes sent to yourself and Blossom, hugs Judithann :-)

No idea Judithann. It's from a 2" square I received in a parcel last year.

Good Morning Jenny! I find myself in a situation similar to yourself, very sick with a horrible cough and congestion. The Doctor put me on an antibiotic yesterday and so hopefully in a day or two I will be feeling better. Until then, I will be doing a lot of hand embroidery and bed rest. This is a lovely pattern design. I am always in love with your bird embroideries though, because hubby and I sit every morning and evening on our porch and watch/listen to all of our bird varieties. It is such a calming and magical way to begin a day and end a day. Thank you for sharing and have a fantastic creative day!

Oh, I love this! The button looked good, but the hexagon looks even better, you're right about that. Those two lady bugs are just the crowning touch, I think. What a great idea, and I love Mother Teresa's legacy, too. A very inspiring woman, humble and compassionate, one of a kind.

So pretty Jenny! Your designs are so beautiful when stitching them I have such a sense of happiness and peace. We have been showcasing your designs we have done on the blog this month. It's been fun! Poor Miss H is already to go back to Uni on Sunday but has come down with a rotten cold - she is in bed all wrapped up warm. So hoping she is on her way to recovery. Blessings.
