I made some with a sweet pastel unicorn print this Easter as gifts for my granddaughters Charlotte and Violet. Packaged similarly to yours, with a big lemon organza bow, and a tag reading ‘Hankies from Heaven’, they are a wonderful no-chocolate Easter gift coming in to the cooler weather in Australia. You and Annabel inspire me constantly. My husband discovered canning and absolutely loves the whole process. One of his favorite parts is to create a variety of Jams and Jellies, Blackberries grow wild here on our property and well everywhere in Southern Oregon and are free for the pickings. You just have to be careful to not pick the areas where they spray. We will definitely use your tip about turning the jars upside down and in the fridge also! Thank you for another marvelous post that just makes me feel happier. Have a great day! I am retired after almost 40 years in the work force so I am learning to be a homekeeper. My husband has also done 99% of grocery shopping and cooking for 36+ years of our 39+ years of marriage! So I am learning to cook and keep house. It is a full-time job! I am busy all the time, but luckily have time to renew my love of the fiber arts. I started embroidering again after a 40 year hiatus from it and am just loving it. Thank you for this post. I read it before bed last night and feel renewed today (though a bit overwhelmed) because I have a day with my 3 year old granddaughter, then pick up her 9 year old sister at school and take her to sewing class at the local quilt shop. It is my day to be grandma! I know now th...Jenny, you are an absolute treasure! I know now that when I see you have blogged, I make a cup of coffee (or tea) and sit and sip and read with absolute fascination. Our lives are so different, yet we share a single core - our love of Jesus our Lord. I still cannot imagine what it must be like to live with endless sunshine but know enough to understand that even that is not perfect, so we both manage with what we have the best way we know how. I am still busy packing up our home and de-cluttering (how did we manage to accumulate so much 'stuff' since we moved here 13 years ago?) I also have been quietly panicking in my mind that our new apartment will feel so small that my husband and I will get under each others feet. He must have sensed this and so over the last few days has been gently bolstering my negative thoughts with truths that God has given us our hearts desire: To have sun in our room when we wake in the morning, a garden to walk into as we open our lounge doors, to be able to see a 'big' sky from our windows & to watch the sun change the colour of that sky as it starts to set. As we don't get as much sun as you we will be able to savour those special times & keep them close to our hearts, which has encouraged me so much that the negatives have drifted away, and has made me realise we are blessed indeed. Oh, and did I mention that we will be able to walk to the beach?? God is so good and our joy is in Him and the 'ordinary' of our lives. Bless you heaps xxDiane Gartonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11314745122477920029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738183327129723042.post-52482197062359785272018-03-21T20:33:07.930+10:002018-03-21T20:33:07.930+10:00Such a lovely post. Just a note about the Eucalyptus Oil...in the post on My Abundant Life http://myabundantlife07.blogspot.com.au/2014/08/miracle-spray.html about the spray which was originally from a member of the Cheapskates Club, Wendy says to use non water soluble Eucalyptus Oil (I found the Thursday Plantation brand in Woolworths) and she also says not to use it on timber or mirrors.
