Shabby Roses HOME free BOM

My free "Shabby Roses Home" block of the month quilt begins on Friday July 19th, 2013.

The BOM runs for 10 months, with two blocks shared each month from July 2013 to March 2014, and a single block and quilt assembly shared in the April final installment.

This quilt is a scrap quilt so no material requirements will be given other than 1.5 yards of background fabric for the feature blocks. I'm using white hanky linen.
I also suggest 1/2 yard of one other fabric to use in applique throughout the quilt to bring unity to the blocks. I've used an aqua/white pindot as my choice.
Apart from these two fabrics, gather your fabric scraps or orphan fat quarters to form a colour scheme you like, and choose embroidery threads that compliment them.

The first two blocks were released on July 19th, as a free download.

The current month's blocks will stay free until the next two blocks are released at which time there is a $2 charge for the two-block set.

This is the finished quilt layout, which measures 37" square before binding.

Blocks 1 and 2 are now available as a $2 instant PDF download HERE.
