The July Little Bird Challenge!!

When I shared my ~Little Bird~ stitchery design last week I had an idea to share something a bit bigger as a Challenge project for July. So,  I sketched up a simple design and stitched it...
 (can you tell I'm into ~Little Birds~ at the moment?)
This design is called, quite simply, ~Little Bird in Tree~.

The Challenge you have for July is to stitch this IN to something. Perhaps a bag, a pillowcase, a journal cover...whatever you like! But let me know when you do so that I can add your name and blog link to my sidebar - then we can all come and look-see! :-)

We'll call  this the July Little Bird Challenge. (Perhaps you could use both Little Bird stitcheries in a project??) You can download ~Little Bird in Tree~ HERE.
It would be great if you also added the button below to your sidebar and link back to this post. The more people who participate, the more fun we have!
(If you don't have a blog just email me and I'll share the photo for you)

~~~~~
 Priscilla used the small ~Little Bird~ stitchery I shared on a scissor keeper for her childhood friend. It is beautiful in variegated blue, lilac and green thread.
Still no news on the house we'd like to rent. The real estate agents haven't been able to contact the home owners yet. Would you pray they make contact today please?
  7. I'm from very far away, in the U.S.A. I'm up late tonight praying for a friend, and I will add you and your house to my prayers.
    It is a privilege to be able to hold you before the Lord, as your patterns and your blog have brought such joy to me. Thank you for your willingness to share your artistry and your talent! We look forward to your praise report.
  8. I'm in! I'm drawing it up and starting to stitch it tonight. It is a fabulous little design, Jenny. Thank you for sharing both designs with us. I finished making your first cute little bird stitchery as a lavender bag this morning before work. I'll post it on my blog sometime over the weekend with a link here.
  10. Today's going to be the day!! Just wait and see! Love the new stitchery. You're a tough one to keep up with! Just finished stitching Little Bird last evening and it's so cute. Hadn't decided what to make it into, so now I have more options. Thanks for sharing another sweet pattern. ~karen
  12. That is such a cute stitchery. And it's small enough that I could probably get it done.
  14. I've just posted a piccie of the little bird stichery I've made up into a lavender bag on my blog. I've also made a start on the July challenge. I'm going to add the stitchery to a tea towel bag to hold all the bits and pieces that go along with my mobile phone. Thank you so much for sharing!
  15. I love these little birds. Last night I realised I had forgotten to post a card for a friend's birthday. You came to the rescue. A short while later I had done it in redwork and it was in an oval frame and ready to post in the morning. Now I'm going to join in the July challenge.
    Praying about that house.
It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
