More beautiful birds!

Enjoy some more birds (and a unique cage) from the Weekend Birdcage Sew-In!
Verna made her birds using Sarah's pattern from Homespun, and has hung them from some of her collected rolling pins! They are so pretty! Verna will be making more birds for Christmas gifts. :-)
Lyn in Texas has made quite a different cage for her lovely birdies! She's even going to build some perches and a feeding station for more birds!

Blossom is back at her studies again, but she's also decided to earn a bit of pocket-money by working a few hours each day at our local Woolies. She set off this morning looking beautiful as always!
Even though we are having 32C degree days now, she still wears this finely woven black cardigan as the air conditioning  in the supermarket is quite cold.

Have a lovely day, and don't forget to check our Gum Tree Designers blog every Monday through October and November for your free Christmas projects! Today our gorgeous Fiona has shared something lovely HERE.

  4. Hey--I found me a really cute white wire birdcage at the Church sale this past week end--so now I really do have to make it some birds--been collecting the bird patterns--but I like the ones in the first picture best so far!!!!

  5. I have been visiting your blog for over a month and I love it. I just got back into doing stitchery projects and you are an inspiration. I'm jealous that you are in the summer season. While it's Fall here in Wisconsin right now winter will be here before we know it and I don't care for winter. So it's fun to read about a warmer climate. Take care and thank you for such a great site to visit.

  6. Blossom is a beauty. I understand why she wears a sweater. So many places are freezers in the summer and blast furnaces in the winter. Really, who decides these temperature extremes are a good idea!

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
