This can be made up in day, and would be perfect for using orphan Christmas fabrics, or any lovely rose themed fabric. I can't wait to hang this in December!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the new pattern - it's very pretty. I have never heard of the term penny pocket before. Where did it come from?
ReplyDeleteDonna, I don't know the origin of the term, but they were made to hold small gifts like sweets. Probably named with that intent - fill with things the size of pennies??
DeleteAnyhow, mine is larger than most because I wanted to fill it with a bunch of flowers. (wrapped to prevent leakage of course).
Love all these special things, but my favorit creation for Xmas is an Angel doll! I made at least 7, if I am not mistaken, it could even be more! It is a pattern of Tilda an Danish designer and I love her creations!
