Free Stitchery, and a wonderful giveaway!

As you know by now, my greatest delight in stitchery design is to bring God's Word to life with needle and thread.
As I stitch these Scriptures I meditate on them, and take them deep within my heart to cherish and love.

Today I am sharing a life verse for many of  us.

Psalm 119:105 ~ "Thy Word is a Lamp" ...

I stitched this verse to embellish my daily prayer journal...

I used a piece of lovely cotton lace as a bookmark, which I stitched inside the back sleeve of the journal cover...

Be blessed as you stitch this verse, and treasure the truth of God's promise.

You can download the pattern free HERE in my shop.

I have a dear, dear friend who has just published her second *amazing* book!

Michelle May of the Raspberry Rabbits, is the talent behind her very own "Folk Art Fusion" technique, and her new book FABLED FUSIONS teaches you how to create ten wonderful reverse wool applique projects that are all gorgeous!

I have this one below, "A Spot of Tea", ready to make for myself, as Michelle also has kits for each project if you like things all prepared and ready to go...

There are so many sweet patterns inside the book; you won't know what to make first!

Perhaps you'd like to WIN your very own copy??

Great!

Just leave ONE comment on this blog post, with a valid email address or blog link, and on November 12th I will draw a winner!
If I cannot contact you, I will draw another name.

Now if you can't wait and would like to purchase Michelle's book today, you can do so HERE in her shop.
In fact, drop over HERE to her blog and see all the other lovely things she has to show you!

She's a darling, and one of my sweetest, quirkiest,  and most generous friends...

Enjoy the stitchery, and good luck in the giveaway...

Jenny

  10. Hello my lovely!

Just a quick note to say how pretty the bible verse from Psalms is - looks so fresh and full of spring in the light green and pink (I've always thought those colours go together). Am very tempted to purchase that particular pattern from your Etsy store and give embroidery another try (especially now that I 'inherited' a bag full of lovely embroidery threads).

As for your friend, Michelle's, patterns, I must say that they are very interesting and charming!

Cheers, and God bless ~ Marina

I would like to get one done for me, then try to make a couple for some special Sisters in Christ from the church we fellowship at. Well, Bob does the fellowshiping just now as I haven't been able to attend for the last few months due to health issues kicking up. But I'm praying that God will kick them out, so they don't keep me down so much. Thank you again sweet friend, I have been keeping you and yours in my constant prayers too. Sending Gentle Hugs and good thoughts...

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
