Yesterday our Monday sewing group had a break up party at the Tumbetin Tea Rooms.
The four of us have had the most wonderful year together, meeting every second Monday in each others' homes; eating, sewing, laughing, crying, loving.
Being friends.
After our morning tea we exchanged gifts, each of them handmade with love.
Here we all are with the framed stitchery that Michelle made for Heather - it has the year and all four of us girls stitched inside a red fabric frame. Gorgeous...
You see, we're all busy girls, so we each drew a name out of a hat and made one gift for the name on the paper.

This is the beautiful mug bag that Wendy made me! I was spoiled...
I made Wendy a wall hanging. It's based on one my 2010 designs (originally a cushion back then) but I love it as a wall hanging. Wendy loved it too...
We had such a lovely day!

I've loved reading all your posts about the get-togethers, seeing what you were each stitching, and who brought what to eat. (And it's all about me, you know that!)
