A year of gentle domesticity...

I'm still on a blogging break, but wanted to share with you a little of what will become the theme for Elefantz next year.

"a year of gentle domesticity"

It's all about making a home, wherever you are, with whatever you have, and with the people you
care about...

Stitching my new blog header for 2015 on beautiful washed-out lemon vintage table linen, complimented by some Lecien "Old New 30's" fabric...

Hope you're going to join me during my 'year of gentle domesticity'...

hugs

  11. I look forward to this Jenny. That's a subject that has been on my heart for next year, too. Perhaps I'll think about adopting those words as my "words of the year." They would be a good anchor to Proverbs 31 during this year that will bring lots of changes including getting my first daughter-in-love and having my daughter home again after she graduates from college. Wonderful idea!

  21. Hi Jenny,

I saw your comment on Rhonda's blog and went to your blog from there. Your stitchery just makes me smile from ear to ear. A year of gentle domesticity is the very thing I need after having a really hectic year last year. I find that I really miss being "housewifey" when I'm pulled in so many directions. I'll be coming back to visit your blog in the future.

Thanks from Diane in North Carolina

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
