Week 3 Little House Corner stitch-along...

Just popping in for a quick blog post today to share block three of our Little House Corner stitch-along. Hubby is on a short holiday break from work until the 28th, so we're busy digging, weeding, planting and doing general yard and home maintenance.
As he normally works six days a week, this time together is rather lovely and I've decided not to be distracted with blogging until he returns to work, especially as home, family and marriage are so very much at the core of my blog.

Today Blossom and the children came over to help Poppy plant some new trees, play in the pool, romp with the Harry dog, and enjoy my baking. They don't get to see Poppy very often, so days like this are treasured. Family time together is very important, and something we must never take for granted - which I am sure you understand.

Block three of Little House Corner can be downloaded using the link below.

I shall be back next Friday with the final block, but if you missed block 1 or 2, or the supper cloth bordering tutorial just pop over HERE for the links.

Bless you heaps,

  1. Yay, time with family, second only to time with God. I love that you are having a family outing right at home. I am putting borders on the cloth, so I'm behind, but I'll catch up on this one soon, I put the second set of borders on wrong, so I had to do some frog stitching and now have them pinned on correctly to sew by the end of the day, but taking a little break and then having a chemo shot before I get back to sewing again. I woke up slightly energetic, but could use a nap now, so might get that after the shot. Enjoy your day. Wish I were coming for tea - meet most of the important people in your life at the same time.

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
hugs
Jennifer
