I finished the second blue and white baby quilt this week - I can't tell you how soothing I find the stark whiteness and the palette of blues against the backdrop of a summer day! The only thing I don't like is being every so careful as I stitch because of all the white - but it was worth it.
I've named this quilt "Sail Away, Sail Away..." As I was sewing I found my mind drifting to the peaceful memory of Enya's hit "Orinoco Flow", also known as Sail Away - a fitting name for the quilt, don't you think?
Later this week I'm going to jump in with both feet and open a store on Etsy. Both the blue and white quilts will be there, and soon hopefully I'll have some pink and mint to follow.God bless!
