Mmmmm...more Shabby Roses!

Over the last few days I have been taking my sketches and begun bringing them to life in fabric and thread...and even some beading!
As this year progresses I will be working hard at bringing you some beautiful new designs that you will be able to buy as pattern packs through Etsy.

This morning I finished the first design - the romantic Shabby Roses Pillow. I was ironing the front piece in the early dawn sunshine and I couldn't resist taking a photo even though it wasn't finished yet.

The beading added that something special I was looking for in this design!

After coffee by the ocean with my daughter I came home and finished stitching this pretty pillow...
do you like it?

I think the flounce adds a romantic, and very feminine touch. It will be a beautiful companion to the Shabby Roses BOM when I finish it, as I've used one of the fabrics I'll use in the quilt.

I'm still writing the pattern instructions, but as soon as it's available for purchase I'll let you know!

What have you been creating today?

Hugs
Jenny

  12. Wow! Wow! Wow! STUNNING! I wish I could make up a new word so that I could round-up "stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, perfect" into one wee exclamation! I think I have the word, actually two: "Jenny's creations!"

Gorgeous! Unique and fresh, love the fresh linen look, and the beading... just everything. You'd better print a lot of patterns as they'll be selling quicker than hot cakes!

    Hugs! Vikki xx

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
All comments are special to me, and I do not want to miss yours, so if you don't see it published immediately, know that as soon as I'm next at my computer I will approve it for you (must do this to avoid scammers unfortunately).
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments if it is needed. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
