The student is outfitted, and we start normal living....

Another big day today. Blossom is going to attend school for the first time and we spent our time today shopping for her school uniform, shoes, accessories and stationary. This was quite an expensive day!! ;-)

She'll don them for you tomorrow and I'll take pics...she has a regular day uniform, a sports uniform, and a formal uniform complete with blazer, tie and bowler hat. I love it!

The sewing room is almost done and I have successfully made curtains for 2 bedrooms, and the living room. Tomorrow I have curtains to make for another bedroom, the dining room, the bathroom, and the sewing room.
I might get back to hand sewing once school starts on Tuesday...well, that's MY plan! ;-)

Here is a 360 view of the sewing room, still in need of final tweaking (at least it's all unpacked now), and you can see where I sit and write to you too...

Now I intend to make a nice cup of coffee before we head out to a barbeque at the home of another teacher at the school. The time for making acquaintances has officially begun.

Hugs
Jenny

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
