Summer Mellow...

Balancing life in the sewing room and the kitchen has not given me much time for blogging lately, but just so you know I am hard at work here's a peek at the feature block in the third mini-quilt from my "Seasons in Redwork" series...

~Summer Mellow~

Sunflowers, sunglasses, a rather dapper duck, umbrella, seagulls, daisies, a sun-smart shirt...my summer.
I'm using these gorgeous repro fabrics for the block piecing...

Cannot wait to add the last redwork stitch and begin the piecing...

Pattern available inside the next issue of Elefantz Home e-zine.
All info HERE.

What are your favourite things about summer??

hugs
Jenny

  6. So cute duck. I love warm weather, even hot. Loved the time when my children were out of school and now my Granddaughters. So many fun things to do together.

  7. I love the red and white! What I love the most about summer here in the US is the longer days. Lots of light to keep on stitching :-)

  8. I love the ball fringe umbrella! Another winner. I'm going to hit fall cold this week. Today is probably the last nicely warm day - about 70 and sunny. But this is a beautiful one!

  11. Hi Jenny,
I've just found your lovely blog, your stitching is so pretty and so perfect. Love your red work which reminds me to get started on my Winter wonderland by Crab Hill - just wish there were more hours in the day and more energy in me.

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
