Blocks 13 and 14 of Shabby Roses Home are ready for you!

It's that time of the month again - the day to share your next two blocks from my Shabby Roses Home BOM!

This month block 13 is a duo of tiny stitched houses, and block 14 is the sweetly appliqued letters Y and Z...

Remember that I'm not sharing these blocks in alphabetical order, but randomly, which is why we're stitching Y and Z this month...

The double block set can be downloaded free HERE in my shop.
All previous blocks are available for $2 a double block set if you're new to this BOM.
Visit the BOM webpage HERE to see all the previous blocks.

Are you new to embroidery and need help with backstitch so you can stitch this BOM?
I shared a step by step tutorial HERE earlier in the month, with a free 'stitch' pattern for you to hone your skills on...

Download 'stitch' HERE from my shop and have fun practicing!

One of my blog readers, Shirley, made herself a pincushion just like mine after downloading my free 'stitch' pattern! Well done, Shirley!

It's back to the tennis for me whilst I stitch.
Are you watching the Australian Open too?

  1. While I'm stitching along, I'm really enjoying watching your shabby little houses grow. A delightful project.

  2. We are watching the Australian Open and staying up far too late to do so here on the east coast of the USA. Can't even imagine playing tennis in the heat you had been having. I have been stitching a reverse applique bow and ribbons for the front of a little girl's dress. I think I finally have my own version of needle turn applique and pinstitch mastered. But I don't think I would get any awards in Madeira, Portugal. I love your little houses and alphabets...gathering them in my library for someday. Hope you sleep well.

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
