It all began one day this week with a mug and a chair at morning tea...
~orange and green~
My two colour obsession revealed once more.
Within ten minutes I'd gathered like minded colours and invited them to play nice.
The brights got along rather well, each assuring the other their friendship would last...
...until they met the soft-hearted blends.
And then the pot was stirred.
Varying shades, but still after all, both orange and green. A perfect match.
Might be time to head back to some pastels next week. The Bright Family are a rather noisy lot when allowed to visit for too long.
Have a sweet and smiley Saturday everyone!
hugs
Oh, gorgeous combinations! That would be a striking start of a Triple Irish Chain, no? :)
ReplyDeleteJust love the colour combinations, makes me want to dig into my stash. Is there no end to your talent?
ReplyDeleteThis is another beautifully written post. Your choice of words is as charming as your photos. Have a wonderful weekend
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post on colour! Love your pictures and how you play along with fabrics, buttons, and china. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see if this comes to fruition Jenny.
ReplyDeleteI love orange and green together!! It must be the Irish - Scottish ancestry running through my veins. looking forward to seeing what you create from these beautiful fabrics!!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors! Your post was cheery and inspiring ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post. I would not have so many different combinations. But substitute the orange with purple, that I could make happen. I say, "you can't have too much green!"
ReplyDeleteI like your photos and your funny comments, the way you anthropomorphized the colors and items. =)
ReplyDeleteI love these photos Jenny, and your ongoing commentary. Orange and Green are some of my favourite colours, as well as Purple and Green, Red, Teal to name a few. I always wear bright colours, plus a little black here and there.
