Sewing the Mini Medallion...

The other day I mentioned that I was planning to make a start on the Mini Medallion being shared over at Clover & Violet by their guest blogger, Chrissy. The pages were printed and I had some of my orphan fabrics on standby for cutting...
Yesterday I finally allowed myself a much-needed work break and spent the morning putting together the centre block and the first border.
I'm using all tonal fabrics, except for the very centre square...
Medallion centre complete...
First border complete...
I'm hoping to finish the second and third borders over the weekend, but that will depend on whether Mr E whisks me away for an adventure in Luigi...

What will you be sewing?

  8. Your fabrics are so pretty in the design! Not that I ever doubted for a moment that they would. =) I love your fussy cutting, too. I don't know whether to hope you went adventuring in Luigi or got to sew borders. =)

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
