It's the final day of the Tea for Two Blog Hop organised by Madame Samm, 'hosted' by Mary, and using a set of designs by the very sweet Cori Blunt of Chitter Chatter Designs!
It's also the day to reveal what I made from some of the stitchery pattens Cori designed!
I chose the smaller templates to play with, though I reduced them to 60% because I prefer stitching smaller designs.

My idea was to applique windows around the little stitcheries....
...before gathering vintage silk ribbon, vintage lace, and an old cream doily to create a sweet little thread cupboard for storing some of my Cottage Garden skeins!
Open it up and more sweetness greets you... 
This was such a lovely project to create, and it all began with Cori's lovely tea for two designs!

ReplyDeleteWow Jenny, that is stunningly beautiful. I think I might just have that very same Tilda fabric. I think if I had something as beautiful as this, I would just have it sitting out on my coffee table so that people could pick it up & admire it & I could say "oh yes thats just my Cottage Garden Thread holder" ... shallow person that I am !!!!! This is soooo gorgeous I am going to dream about this tonight :-)
