Dreams come true...

I have no words to express the joy that is overflowing from my heart after four days spent with my daughter Aisha and her precious toddler Frankie, so I shall just share these photos of moments captured with them and Blossom at home, up the mountain, and along the beach we call the Strand.

Thank you for all your warm wishes and prayers this week - they were felt, appreciated. xx

Cool drinks and ice cream for morning tea. Frankie and Aisha.

Bathtime for Frankie with Auntie Blossom
Tickles from mummy (Aisha) for Frankie
Cuddles with Nana (me!)
 My beautiful girls.
Overlooking the foreshore next morning - Aisha, Frankie and me.
Then up the mountain in the afternoon.
 A bit tuckered out, Nana.

After pizza that night - Blossom, me and Aisha...
We love a bit of fun.
An auntie and her niece should never be parted.
Next day at the airport for the plane trip home. Hugs. Tears.
Missing them.
But overwhelmed with the blessing I've just been given.
So proud of Aisha - she is the gentlest, most natural mother I've even known. Soft spoken, attentive, mindful, and oozing unabashed love.
And Blossom - motherhood will come just as naturally to her when it knocks on her door. This was so evident watching her and Frankie together.

Yes, I've been blessed.

hugs

  19. WOW what a gift you've been given. The kind of gift that comes from God and doesn't have a price on it. I have been blessed to have someone return to my husband's life that has been years in coming and know the wonderful feelings and pinch me moments - did this really happen! that come with it. And yet, for God it is no surprise and He has been working in the background His wonders to perform.

  28. Dearest Jenny,
Oh how I have been praying. It looks like Abba answered each and every one. I am so happy for you. I know that it won't be 13 years before you see them again. So glad that the bridges have been re-built. Frankie is a little doll. It must have been heartbreaking at the airport. But now you know that you will see them again. You have precious pictures to look at and you will have phone calls too. Frankie will be talking on the phone before you know it. I continue to pray for Blossom everyday.

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
