Bonus design and tutorial plan...

I was preparing the layout for a set of hanging pockets which will display my seven "Days of the Week" stitcheries and decided to add an eighth design because...well, just because really.
I think it ties them all together beautifully...

The block is a little larger than the seven 'days' blocks...

The full set of 8 stitchery patterns will be emailed to all members of my Stitchery Club on May 17th. Normally I include a project sheet featuring one of the designs from the current month, but this month it's a big project so I'll be sharing the tutorial to make a pocketed "Days of the Week" wall quilt here on the blog instead.

The tutorial will be published here on Tuesday 17th May, the same day my Club members receive their May issue.
If you'd like to follow along you can either -

Join the Stitchery Club HERE before May 16th and receive Club benefits such as a free joining gift and the full set of patterns for $9.95.

or

Purchase the May issue as a one-off download for $14.95 on the 17th from either my Craftsy Shop or my Etsy Shop.

or

Gather some small stitcheries of your own to use instead!
The seven 'Days of the Week' designs are trimmed to 5 1/2" square so your stitcheries need to be no larger than that.

So tell me, will you sewing along with us next Tuesday?

  8. What a great addition to the Days of the Week! I'm still finishing off last year's Christmas Wreath ... and the year before's Christmas tree ... but this looks like a good project to add to my list. Thanks so much for this great group of pictures. Your posts always get me excited about stitching!

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
hugs
