While I wait...

We're still on baby watch with sweet Blossom, but I can say that we expect news very soon. Things appear to have started so if you'd like to pray for a comfortable labour and delivery please do. (thank you) xx

Her dogs, Bobby and Elmo, are here with us while the big event takes place and they've settled very well. In fact I have two shadows following me wherever I go, even you-know-where!

A few projects have needed attention in the sewing room this week so I've decided to complete them in order of their deadline.
Friday is the next block for Gentle Domesticity, Saturday I have a tutorial linked to The Splendid Sampler (which will be shared here) plus I'm also working on a special Tilda project for September and finishing the last couple of designs for this month's Stitchery Club. Phew - I'm exhausted just thinking of it all!

Here's the fifth pattern for August's Stitchery Club, "Message To Self".
A reminder we all need, I think?

And the sixth (and final) pattern for August is traced and ready for my needle today while I dog-sit and wait for news. "Fly Free"...

May your day be blessed,

  6. Thank you for a tantalizing peek at your new stitchery (which looks exciting) and praying for a safe, straight forward delivery for Blossom and of course a healthy baby as the end result! My granddaughter was 2 yesterday (2nd) and my grandson will be 10 tomorrow (4th) so a good time for a birthday! May you all be blessed 'beyond measure' during these next few days.

  12. Good Morning Jenny! Oh my Goodness...I am already saying prayers! Your two little fur babies are adorable. I know exactly what you are talking about; we just watched my daughters miniature poodle Mr. Colby while she was on vacation for 3 weeks and he was my shadow. LOL. Your designs are looking spectacular! While you are waiting with impatience, I have a feeling quite a few things are going to get done. Just sitting and waiting is so hard to do. So my prayers go out to you also on this day! Have a fantastic "driving me crazy waiting kind of day" creative day! The Lord is with all of you!

    Your friend from Oregon....Brenda

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
