Dear friends,
I will be taking a blogging break for the next 4-6 weeks to focus on some medical self-care. I have learned recently, through the comments you share after each blog post, that many of you are dealing with moderate, serious, or life changing health challenges, and I appreciate how brave it must be for you to write about these things publicly. During my absence, you will be in my prayers, and if you are someone who would like me to pray (along with many thousands of others who read these blog posts) then please, if you feel able, leave a comment and we shall pray.
You do not need to be specific, though it would be good to know your name - but for some dear ones the need for anonymity is important, so be assured we'll still pray because God sees you and knows who you are. (((hugs)))
If you need a reminder about the importance of prayer, I'm gifting you this embroidery pattern to download, because Romans 12:12 is exactly that - a reminder that in hope or tribulation, we should pray. Use the link below.
If you have an extra minute, would you please also pray for Blossom and her family who are having a hard time this year with Ross unemployed these past six months, and their current rental home up for sale (second time in 18 months). ((thank you))
Hold fast to the Lord, because He never fails us, and is our greatest hope in every situation.
REJOICE in hope.
Be PATIENT in tribulation.
Be CONSTANT in prayer.
God bless precious ones,
PS: My Etsy Shop is always open, so please drop by if you are in the mood for something new to stitch.

Praying for you. It is sometimes hard for a blogger to know how much to share. There are issues in my family right now I do not wish to put out there. But the Lord knows each of us, and we can lift one another in prayer before his throne, trusting him because he knows all, and we do not need to tell him anything, or expect to know everything for ourselves. You are in my prayers , sister♥️🙏♥️
Ps no need to reply!!
Ciao Jennifer, I use to pray for you and your family since I met you in your blog. Have a good recharging and restful period. Thank you for the nice pattern.

God bless you and may He heal you. I pray this is a time of rest and healing for you. Also, praying for Blossom and her family. Good jobs are difficult to find and its a lot of pressure for a family of five! May our Lord provide that job and a safe place for her family to live. I appreciate and am humbled by all prayer that is offered for a healing for my husband and myself. God is with us, so who can stand against us?! Jennifer, I appreciate your blogging during this difficult time. You are a huge inspiration and blessing. Take all the time you need to relax and heal. Sending a big hug and prayers.
I'm sorry to hear of your on going health issues. I to have been dealing with unexpected health issues after moving states in January. I woke up one day with severe arm, shoulder, upper back and hip pain and stiffness. I was unable to see MD until mid Feb. I had to see a new provider and feel very blessed that the MD i was assigned to is kind and compassionate. Lab testing revealed very high levels of systemic inflammation. I had multiple blood draws and was referred to rheumatologist. I was able to be seen in weeks rather than the months the wait would have been in my old state. I was then diagnosed with EORA, sudden elderly onset rheumatoid arthritis. This form of RA is extremely aggressive and has rapid progression of disease in multiple joints. Initially I had no symptoms in my hands or wrists and within 2 weeks both sides were horribly swollen and extremely painful. Another 2 weeks and my ankles were now involved. I've lost all strength in my hands, have difficulty walking and overall fatigue. In less than 4 months my entire life has changed . I try hard not to be discouraged however I trust God has His hands on me. I'm surprised to learn how many seniors develop the disease. I'll continue to pray for those who are experiencing health issues and ask God for healing for each one. Thanks for your blog and for opening the forum for others to ask for pray.
Dearest Jennifer - I will be praying for you, as well as for Blossom and her family. I would appreciate prayers for my continuing "struggle" with Alzheimers. May God richly bless you and your family.
Thank you for the pattern dear Jennifer. I am so very sorry to hear of Blossom & Ross's ongoing issues - it has been relentless for them. Prayers for you to heal & also for them & their sweet family my dear friend. Take care of yourselves x0x

I pray that the Lord will bring you great healing Jennifer and that he will provide employment for Ross very soon as well as new accommodation for the family.Your posts have always been so encouraging for me.
In the past I’ve bought a few of your stitchery patterns and sewn them including the Romans one. Some I have made into wall hangings to give as gifts to friends. One I made into a cushion which sits on the bed in my sewing room.
I have suffered with 3 different chronic pain conditions over the past 15 years and would like prayer for continued strength and to keep looking to the Lord for joy.Thank you and God bless you.
Will miss your emails in the weeks to come. Always such an inspiration and very welcoming in my inbox, but I understand if you need time alone. Thanks for all that you have shared over the years. Not only the patterns, but your wisdom, the Word, your life - everything. It's truly a blessing and a calling to which you have listened and have been obedient. Been two years that my youngest son is unemployed and at 26 one wonder when he will be able to get on his feet. But it's very difficult for us here in South Africa. Prayers from my family to yours. Love.

Una preghiera per te la tua famiglia e tutte le persone che hanno problemi grandi in questo periodo. Un abbraccio in Cristo.
Hola Jennifer. Siempre paso por aquí, aunque no comento mucho. Estaremos atentas a la espera de tu regreso. Tómate tu tiempo. Descansa y cuida de tu salud, que es lo que más importa. Te envío un fuerte abrazo desde Venezuela
I had fibromyalgia diagnosed 33 years ago so my pain has been for decades. It became much less pronounced after I retired from teaching. The stress of being in a in a high stakes school in a very high poverty neighborhood was causing much of my pain. We were supposed to be increasing reading scores by 10% each school year while our neighborhood was welcoming newcomers from foreign countries at the same time. Many of my students had never been to school before and didn't know English. It was not a good recipe for school success! I loved my students but I did not love school legislation from people who had no idea what reality was.
At any rate, I do understand pain and the need to slow down one's life. I totally rely upon God and His goodness in my life. I also use medicine. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables and keep moving. I am 78 now. I have lived longer than the rest of my birth family members because I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I totally believe in the powers of faith and gratitude!
Please take good care of yourself. No one else can. Your Father in Heaven has a wonderful plan for you.
Praying for you, Jennifer. Praying for your daughter and her family also. Looking forward to hearing from you down the road and praying all will be well. XO🙏💞
