Need to rest my hands...

Dear friends, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be away from the computer for the next few days to rest my fingers and hands.
My post-op finger is no better, in fact it is worse than before, and now every finger on my left hand is triggering too...there is a lot of fluid build up in my hand and fingers so I am sure these are related.
I'll not be sewing or cooking or typing...just resting these very needed fingers and working on ridding my body of the excess fluid build-up.

For this reason I may extend the Zippper-me-up challenge into next month, and I will avoid having a Friday Show and Tell this week. Sorry about that, but my hands take priority at the moment.

Take care of yourselves, and be sure to look after your own health this week. Maybe you've got some resting to do too?

I'll leave you with a photo of what Lily Rose did to one of our banana trees on Sunday. She jumped up until she could grab the bunch of bananas and broke the tree to get them. Mr E had to remove the bananas from the tree, and now we'll see if they ripen ok...

Today she's eating mangoes that have fallen from the trees. She loves fruit apparently....
Hugs
Jenny

I'm so sorry to hear your hands are giving you problems. I had to give mine a rest last year for a while and it's so difficult when you love to use them.
We had banana trees in our backyard when we lived in Florida and our rottweiler would attack and destroy them.

Do take care Jenny. We'll be here when you get back :)

Please do take time out to rest your hands. I know I have more than enough to keep me going now that I have the current issue of Handmade. I love the 3 trees bag and the Joy to the World but my fave is the Swirly Christmas Tree. Its a gotta-do!
Again please rest and recover. We will wait.

Jenny, it's good that you are going to give your poor hand a complete rest. What a pity the surgery wasn't helpful. I'm glad that Blossom will be home to keep you company and give you a hand (pardon the unintended pun). All the bloggy stuff will be there waiting when you are feeling better. That puppy of yours is certainly keeping you on your toes. What a naughty girl.

Hi Jenny,
I hope your hand heals, it must be very frustrating for you. :(
My tip for the banana's - put them in a box with a very ripe banana, apparently the ripe banana encourages the others to ripen...sounds funny but I am assured that this works!

Take care of yourself all else can wait it's hard not using our fingers we depend on them so much but rest friend and feel better soon. Hope your bananas ripen okay♥

Hola, Jenny!!!

Sorry to hear your hands aren't healing like planned, I had to give my hands a rest in the last couple of weeks too because of triggers, and it is tooo frustrating, but we both know the rest helps the healing. Look forward to hearing you are all well and ready to go again.
Take care and enjoy your time off. I'll be here when you get back. You are on my prayer list!

No need to be sorry, you have to look after yourself{no one else will-you live tooo far away}!

Ah, did you know dogs that eat fruit live for about two years longer. They feed blind dogs fruit and I feed our Bluey fruit {except grapes}
Take it easy my friend,

So sorry that you are having a set back. Take your time and get well, we will wait patiently and say prayers for your fingers. It is so funny that Lily Rose likes fruit. What a naughty girl! They tell you to keep tomatoes away from ripe bananas, so maybe throw a couple near the unripe bananas. Good luck. Feel better! L,A-

So sad to hear your fingers are not back to normal yet! But, I'm wondering if you can be good this time...lol! Pray you do rest those precious fingers. If they can't have time to heal, you'll not be able to stitch all the designs in your head. Be good now and will see you later. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers till you return, my friend!

Hey Jenny,
hope your hand is much better. I have not been on the computer reading blogs much because my elbow has been really hurting so I am trying to rest too.
Love your short hair. I cut mine short too before my son's wedding. Much easier to take care of when I have a hurting arm. Those hot flashes can get to you too.
Love those birds.
