Little ones...

Cully May and Rafaella Lucy, precious little loves.

I spent yesterday morning with Blossom and her babies and it was such a wonderful few hours.
My dear friend Margaret had sent a parcel of pretty things for them and included were these beautiful towels for Rafaella, the sweetest library bag you've ever seen for Cully, soft and fluffy bibs, a book of lullabies.

I read the book to Cully a few times as she was intent on staying put on my lap and between hundreds of cuddles we'd read or sing a lullaby.
Those are the memories you keep deep in your heart for the future, aren't they.

Mr E and I are just about to jump in the car and leave on our two night/three day escape up north.
I would love your prayers for safe travels, good health, REST and refreshment.
((thank you))

May your weekend be wonderfully fun and overflow with every good and beautiful thing under heaven.

hugs

Prayers for a lovely trip. It's Friday night here in New Jersey and two of my grandkids are sitting at my feet playing a game. We are about to read books before they head to sleep. Your little grandgirls are precious!

Just precious & So very priceless Jenny. I had Sid for the day on Thursday - it was not pleasant weather so I wrapped him up warmly, put him in the stroller & outside we went to gather walnuts. After about half an hour we had gathered about 20 as he had to hold each one, study it & then when it went in the basket, some had to come out again too!! He sat there like Lord Muck pointing to all the walnuts & jabbering away in his funny lingo. Though my back hurt & I felt tired, those are the moments I hold dear to my heart. I totally understand what you mean my friend. Have a safe & restful time away ... love to you both Xxxx

Beautiful pictures... Such beautiful lil girls they are..I hope you all have a wonderful trip. And that you get the chance to relax and enjoy every single moment of it. My husband has started on spring yard cleanup for this weekend. My daughter is home for the weekend as well. I long to help him. And if I had been able I would have had most of it already done by myself. But after back surgery no bending no lifting over 10 pounds, no stooping , no , no , no...etc.. My son who is special needs adult child . Has discovered the old children's tv series The magic School bus has been remade and is now on net flix. I don't know if y'all have that in Australia. But it is very educational. Culley may be a little too young for that yet though....But I liked watching it with the children when they were younger...

Aww, what great photo's of you and your beautiful grandkids. The one of you reminds me of when I had my granddaughter every weekend; what lovely memories we made together. She's all grown up now and a school teacher and no more little ones for me to cuddle. Have a wonderful weekend away, safe travels while you take some photo's for your own memories :)

Have prayed for a safe journey, and some other things, for you and your family. Those girls are adorable together. It seems such a short time ago that Cully May was that size, and look at her now. Both of you have grown much longer hair! How precious these times and memories are.

Love love love that first picture!! They remind me of my two grandbaby girls. One is three, the other is six months. The three-year-old just loves her baby sister and really enjoys entertaining her and singing to her. She even tells me how to take care of her sister when she's fussing. "Sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to her, Nonna" "Sing the ABCs". And sure enough, when I do what she says, the baby calms down.

I wish my arms were strong enough to hold my sweet grandbaby as long as I want to. Of course the main reason I can't is that he is always so happy! Jumping around & laughing or singing so it is just as sweet to watch his joy as to feel it. I totally agree with you!

Praying you have a peaceful refreshing holiday!
