This weekend I....

....ate lots of sweet and juicy nectarines...

...tidied my desk...

...stitched lace to lemon...

...realised how talented Blossom is to take such creative self photos with her camera...

...started a new book and Bible study...

...sketched the final 'Seasons of Redwork' mini quilt stitchery and traced it to fabric...

...prepared the next two blocks of my free Shabby Roses Home BOM in time for tomorrow's pattern release...

...and bought myself a new iron for the sewing room.

What did you do?

  1. Phew!! You're making me feel tired - and I didn't even get a 1/4 of the amount of stuff done as you obviously did!! Wishing I had even a touch of your stamina, lol!! ... Loving all the new designs - thanks for the sneaky peeks!! And I gotta ask ... are you doing the study by yourself, or with others? It looks like it would be a good book, from all accounts :) ... Wishing you an enjoyably productive week ahead! Hugs xx

  3. Wow! Wish I had as much fun as you did in getting things accomplished this past weekend! I had the tiresome job of getting some rental property ready for new tenant. The place was left in a real mess! So, I scrubbed out the oven, cleaned the stove and counters, wiped out eleven upper and lower cabinets, cleaned off hand marks from all cabinet doors inside and out, scrubbed the tub, lavatory, and sink. Removed all curtains from the two-bedroom house and washed/dryed/and re-hung them. Swept, vaccuumed, and mopped a living room, dining room, kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms. Then I went home got a shower...and took a nap!
    Hugs,
    Kathy

    1. They are wonderful studies from the GMGs. I just finished the Thanksgiving one and last year's Advent study - so pleased they are all online to do at will. \o/

  6. Sounds like you had a great weekend. We had things planned, but severe weather got in the way. Nearby towns have been devastated by tornadoes and we have several friends that have lost everything and some that we still haven't heard from. It's heartbreaking!

  9. I got lots done too. I worked on hand embroidery for couple of hours, took daughter and husband shopping, went to Starbucks coffee so yummy. We celebrated my birthday. Hubby took me outon a special date to a super fancy restaurant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary which is tomorrow. And grocery shopping and chauffeured my daughter and her friends and got my jeep taken into dealer for repair work. Busy busy...

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
