I just LOVE roses!

Thank you to everyone who has left a comment on my Shabby Roses BOM giveaway post! The word is definitely out there and I hope we see lots of Shabby Roses quilts made by Christmas.
For those who have wondered if I will post to an international winner - yes, I most certainly will!! So don't hold back, leave a comment and you go in the draw! :-)

Have you figured out yet that I *love* roses?? You have!?

These are some of the last of my summer/autumn roses, Red Kardinals...aren't they just gorgeous in their flower vase? How can I not be inspired to create when I look up from my desk and see these beauties smiling down at me.

Only two days until I share Block 3 with you....I'm so excited!!!
Hugs
Jenny

They are beautiful roses for sure. I am working hard to catch up. I am not sure about one I am working on but I will wait and see after I do the second one.

I can't wait to see it! I've also enjoyed following the links to other's who have sewn them . . . everyone is so inspired by you! I will keep working on my sampler after we move. Too much going on. The wonky houses are so cool, and I want to do them (probably easier as they look to be mostly straight, back stitches). I sewed a doll for a friend (posting picture of it on my blog tomorrow - otherwise she may see it and spoil the surprise tonight) . . . I used the machine for some stuff and handsewed some others . . . when I was sewing by hand, it was so relaxing and I felt so chuffed with myself!

Love the new look here.
God bless!

Good morning Jenny! :-)

Your roses are beautiful! Roses, are also my favourite bloom... not just for their beauty but for the significance they have always held in my life! I am guessing that your garden is just beautiful!

I am finding the time for your shabby roses BOM... (insert Scottish accent here...) "It's just gots-ta be done, Capt'n!"

Catch you soon sweetheart!
With love, blessings and big hugs,
Vikki xx

I love roses too. Whenever I think of my grandmother, I think of her with a vase of roses - my grandpa grew some in the garden just for her.

I'm hoping I can start my shabby roses soon - I just last night finished up another wonky house. Yippee!
