Giveaway winner, and some stitching...

Congratulations to Lynn in good old England, who was commenter 119 in my 'Flowers for Sale' giveaway! Thank you to everyone who entered. I wish I could send a gift to all of you. xx
Tomorrow I will carefully package this framed and coloured version of the my stitchery and send it off to Lynn in the post. It has half the globe to travel...what stories it could tell!
I went looking over Lynn's blog when I drew her winning number, and WOW, this lady is a very talented cross-stitch designer, so make sure you go and visit her blog HERE for some sweet eye-candy! She is also extremely generous with free designs...what a worthwhile giveaway winner she is! Bless you, Lynn!

Speaking of talented designers, Australia is brimming with them!
(I know, I am an Aussie too so what else would I say, right?)
Well, my nationality aside, I'm sure you'll agree that we've got something in the water down here that blesses us. This month I was truly humbled to be able to stitch one of the blocks in Rosalie Quinlan's newest quilt. The blocks are the most beautiful I've ever seen from Rosie, and to be able to stitch one for her was a real blessing for me. I got to see up close and personal just how much work she puts in to her designs, and I'll admit I was more than a little nervous stitching for her. This is a sneak of the block I did for her quilt...
Visit Rosalie's blog HERE for more peeks at some blocks in her soon-to-be-released redwork quilt design. You will drool, girls...so have a tissue on hand, and a cuppa 'cause you'll be there a while. ;-)

Issue 12 of my magazine has been emailed out to all it's subscribers. \o/
If you are not a subscriber and would like to purchase this as a single issue only, visit the magazine page HERE, and you can do just that!
Now to work on Issue 13, The Kids Issue...

Are you following my BOM this year?
Block 6 from "Promises & Borders" is all stitched and ready to share on June 3rd...
The first five blocks can still be downloaded by clicking on the links in the left hand side-bar. If you have any problems, please email me privately or leave a comment with your email address, and I will email the pdf file to you.
Time to put my feet up for a little while, maybe finish that yummy pot of soup I made on Sunday and do some stitching...
Hugs
Jenny

Hi Jenny I have just been reading this months issue of Elefantz Home and I loved it!! You brought back so many memories of my childhood with my Mum. Being British I love my cuppa and I fully agree it does taste better in a china cup (or mug as I use these days). Hugs

You are the perfect person to stitch something for Rosalie. I admire beautiful hand work even if I don't care to do it for myself. Your stitchery style is every bit as gorgeous and worthy of attention. :o)

Well done to Lynne I know her and she will love this pick me up win as she is so busy at the moment.

I am loving your work Jenny and have just decided to subscribe to your patterns, I am still a beginner but have made a few designs of my own with simple stitches. So I thought this would be good practice for me and make something for my home.
best wishes Julie.C
