Done!

Two new things accomplished today!
I made a Dresden block, and I used needleturn applique. Whew, that was FUN!

Jenny, your Dresden plate is beautiful and I love your appliqued center.
I made 2 Dresden plate quilts years ago before the tool was invented. I did the pointed ends just the way you did and gathered the center around templates cut from a manilla folder. For me, that was much easier since I don't do needle-turn applique.
Your work is exquisite and so inspiring. I enjoy visiting your blog.

This dresden block looks like hard work even if you use templates, but it is surely worth the trouble! I love the colours too.
