It seems that I have too many Shabby Roses designs in my head to keep all to myself, so because you're all so wonderful and encouraging of my work - and believe me, that just blesses my soul more than you realise! - I think I'd better give you a little present.
"Bucket of Roses"...a gift from me to {{{you}}}
You can download the pattern HERE.
And speaking of having all these Shabby Roses designs in my head, I am planning another Shabby Roses quilt for later in the year. These are the fabrics I've decided to use...soooo pretty, more peach than pink this time. :-)
And look at these! I just had to share these gorgeous Shabby Roses blocks from fellow bloggers.
Jutta used the first 5 blocks in a beautifully feminine, romantic table runner. I would love this on my table, Jutta!
Now, Carrie has gone in a completely different direction with her Shabby Roses blocks and christened them "Retro Roses"!
They are so striking!! It's amazing how the same blocks can look so different through fabric choice, yet so lovely.
~~~~~~~
All those Wonky House fans have been lamenting that their BOM had finished...so I got to thinking, which led to more sketching, which led to.....
Wonky Tree House!
I haven't finished stitching him because I'm trying to get all that machine sewing done by Saturday, but I'm only going to use one colour and he will become one of a set of placemats I'm designing. These are the fabrics I'm using with him...
Now, I figure it's not fair to give a Shabby Rose block away and not a Wonky Tree House.
Here you go, ladies, you can download Wonky Tree House HERE.
I hope you'll let me see what you've made with your free blocks. :-)
Hugs
Jenny
You'll see them all around Roma and Biloela and Rockhampton and Mackay as you travel North...if you go inland that is. If you come through Rocky on your way North, let me kow and I'll tell you where one big one is that's just near McDonalds, so that you can see one in person! Anyway, keep them comeing!! lol
