More de-cluttering, and a freebie!

I have to be honest, this de-cluttering for Spring has been wonderful!
I have been able to clear out my pantry, my fabrics, my patterns, and now my bookcase!!

Listed HERE are all the wonderful crafty books I am selling. Some of them are brand new, never read.
A few life lessons for me after this exercise today...
* Think before I purchase.
* Use the library to see if I really like a book enough to buy it.
* Am I only buying out of curiosity??
* Do I have enough time to make the pattern/s??

The books, patterns and magazines are for Australian buyers ONLY.
Books can be expensive to post, so maybe grab a few to make it worth your while? I post in satchels mostly as that is the cheapest.
Visit my sale page HERE.

My new quilt design is coming along nicely!
Another month or six weeks, and "Shabby Angels" should be finished. Here's a few sneak peeks...

 ~~~~~
I've also been making special gifts. Here is one that hopefully inspires the recipient.
The lace is almost 100 years old...
~~~~~
Now it's time to show you how I have been spoiled!
My sweet friend, Nancy Jo, sent me a surprise bundle of joyful bits and pieces...and you know, they arrived on a day when my heart really was in need of a lift and a hug. Thanks, Nancy Jo - I just wish you'd posted your sweet self in the parcel instead. xxxxxxxxx
My friend Stephanie has begun a crochet phase, and I was so in love with what she was making that she offered to send me the pattern. Well, bless my cotton pickin' socks - she sent me the gorgeous crochet cotton as well!
I see a crochet world in my future. ;-)
Thank you Stephanie! xxx

Like the little tag says, your cushion is beautiful Jenny. How special to have that hundred year old lace to use. Lovely bundle you received from Nancy Jo.

Oh Jenny...How I wish I could have posted myself to you. What a blessing it would be to have a cuppa with you and share some laughter and tears as we stitched and chatted.
Your new design is going to be breathtaking and I can't wait for it to be revealed!
I have your Shabby Roses quilt in progress, and I got a good start on the Happy Table Runner design today. (I decided I was going to sew in spite of my aches and pains, LOL).
I purchased your incredibly gorgeous "Christmas Story" pattern quite a while back and I am really anxious to get that one started, but it will have to wait until I get some other things finished up, LOL. Too many things begun and not finished stacking up about me...time to get a handle on those.
Thank you so much sweet friend for sharing this beautiful Sweet Somethings pattern with us. Perfect small projects. Big Hugs my sweet friend...

Hi Jenny - always feels good to declutter - just in case you are interested and don't know about it and want to reach a different market group there is a f/b site Sew You're Destashing
http://www.facebook.com/groups/430815256933662/
and you can join and paste up things... it seems things go quite well and quickly...
Lovely little stitcheries as always... thanks...

That bitty "pillow" with the lace is a little beauty. Happy crocheting and de-stashing. Lightening the load feels good.

You certainly are going to be all organised for spring. I need to do the same, but never seem to get around to it....besides, it's too cold away from the warm living room end of our house. Have fun with your new crochet pattern. Good luck with Mr E's new job. Enjoy your time together.

Thanks for the stitching tip. Some time back you talked about not using a hoop. Someday, when you are feeling better and Mister E is back to work, maybe you could do a post showing your hoopless technique.
Thanks,
