Last Friday in January Show & Tell!

There were lots of photos and links being sent this week, so sit back and enjoy the feast of stitching by fellow followers and friends!
Susan has finished her hanging and first verse for Give Thanks...
and so has Carrie! (Carrie also has a wonderful blog post about what you can do in 30 minutes in your sewing room, so be sure to have a read of it)
Sunny's Give Thanks is ready for the verses...
...and Margaret is busy making verse 2 as this will be a gift for a friend.
Devi from L.A. is a new reader of my blog and sent the sweetest email showing me her version of Give Thanks...
...as well as what she has made from a skirt for my January Cinderella Apron challenge! Now this wasn't an apron, but she did use a skirt to make these items for her sewing, as well as a cover for her sewing machine. Not bad from a skirt! :-)
Lis decided to buy an apron for the challenge, and chose a lovely Laura Ashely skirt from the opshop believing it to be too small for her, but once home Lis discovered that it fit her, and she rather likes it as a skirt!
Carla Louise made a gorgeous apron for her son's girlfriend from a child's dress...
Have you made your apron yet?? Only a few days left. Send me a pic or a link to your blog post and I will enter you in THIS giveaway!!

Robin and I have been online friends for many years, fellow homeschoolers and sisters-in-Christ. I have been so excited over the 18 months or so to see her work on each block of my Shabby Roses quilt pattern as she had time, and now the blocks are finished and the quilt top all pieced!

Robin teaches me diligence to persevere at a task, no matter how long it takes and no matter what life throws at you along the path. She is a woman of faith and one who loves with her whole being. Robin's version of my Shabby Roses quilt is special to me because I know the journey in life she has had to walk as she slowly stitched each block and pieced each cut of fabric. I love you, Robin. {{{{hugs}}}}

Bob-the-dog would like to thank you all for your prayers and concern over him after his injury in early December. He's all better now (physically), but he is not the same little fellow he used to be. Now he is terrified of all dogs, and cries when he hears them bark or sees them out on the street.
The good news is that he and Miss Sophie have made friends and now even take their meals together...that is, when she's not fast asleep on the table. :-)
Hugs

PS: The lovely and very talented Sarah Saliba is starting a craft group in Glenmore Park, so if you're in that area and would like to be a part of it, please visit Sarah's blog HERE  for the details.
If only I wasn't 1/2 a country away!

What lovely show and tell Jenny!!! Such beauty all over blogland, because of your wonderful talent. I'm sorry Bob-the-dog has been traumatized....but so glad he has a sweet little Sophie to hang out with.

Those are so beautiful things, just a lot of inspiration. Give Bob a lot of kisses from here, the poor thing.

Wonderful projects from everyone. So glad Bob and Sophie are fast friends. Sophie can protect him from bad dogs, right?

I have just been catching up on blog reading for the last month. Such wonderful show and tell. Congratulations on your quilts raising so much for the flood relief. I was blown away by the total funds raised. I think I've fallen in love with Sophie. She is so very cute. It sounds like she was just what the doctor ordered for both you and Bob the Dog. Give them both a cuddle from me.

It's fun to see them in all these color combinations. I'm still working on the embroidery! LOL. I have to get caught up!

I have had so much fun making you block of the month project. I just completed a blog post about it and will be starting the little verse blocks this weekend. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and I have enjoyed looking at all of the different projects.

sooo glad to hear Bob is doing fine and hoping Sophie will be Bob's new body guard and keep safe!

Love to see all the 'show & tells', thinking I may need to start your verse block as it's lovely to see all the colour variations, great inspiration.

Great show and tell as always. Poor Bob. Both our dogs were attacked by a neighbor's dog at different times and they were never the same either.

Hello Jenny,

I found your blog the other day and I love it! I just thought I would let you know I used your roses coaster pattern on a little needlebook I have just made, I put a link to your blog in a post I have just created for a giveaway.

Kind regards
