Lurgies, infections, and life changes...

Mr E has been battling a chest and throat infection for many weeks. Just as it started to improve he awoke on Tuesday with conjunctivitis, declaring he felt worse than he had in many, many years.
Last night I succumbed to a bad throat and conjunctivitis. Tonight it is Blossom's turn for the eye infection. Sam's eyes are fine but he has a dreadful head cold and has now lost his voice. I think we all need a nice cruise somewhere.
Enough of the woes.
Time for something cute.
My sweet 'Ellie' has become a mum, and I am enjoying playing with her little girl. You can too if you're an Elefantz HOME subscriber because she'll be in the next issue.
I love adding to my Oopsie Daisy designs, and I thought it was about time for a new one...
I'll bring it to life with needle and thread over the weekend. You'll love it!

If you are a subscriber to my free newsletter you would have downloaded my free 'Hope' design a couple of weeks ago. This is my original...
Sherry has made her own 'Hope' and sent me the link to her blog post. Isn't it beautiful?!
Have you made 'Hope' yet?

At our local Woolies supermarket they sell gourmet Raisin & Oat cookies that are simply divine. The catch, though, is the price. $3 for 5 cookies. I only buy them when they are marked down to $1.50, but still, that's a lot of a handful of cookies!
This morning I wrote my own recipe and made them. YUM!!! I was able to make 27 cookies and as everything I needed was aleady in my pantry it was win/win all the way.
I'll share the recipe in my next newsletter later next week.

It's Friday and because I like offering you special weekend deals, I thought you may be interested in an Oopsie Daisy bundle?
Included in this PDF pattern bundle are:
Three Oopsie Daisy Stitchery & applique designs...

 One Oopsie Daisy wallhanging pattern...
...and one Oopsie Daisy Table Runner pattern!

All this for $5!
Five Oopsie Daisy designs, plus two complete projects, as a PDF pattern set!
This special offer only available till Monday.

Now to rest up over the weekend, and hopefully all of us can recover in time for the new working week.
I have news to share soon about major changes in our family. Just need to get our heads around it first.
Have a relaxed and peaceful weekend, won't you? I hope so.
Hugs
Jenny

Hugs to all of you and hoping proper Spring arrives soon as you guys seem to have had an illness filled winter. Maybe warmer weather will mean the end of the bacteria.

My goodness, you all have had a nasty dose of the lurgies. Look after yourselves and get well soon. I can't believe that you have still found the energy to cook and create new designs. Take care.
