Monogram Monday ~I~, a project, andsome sneak peeks!

The Easter Monday Monogram is ~I~

My ~I~ word is Immanuel, "God with us". The best word for Easter!

As you know, I like to challenge myself to a small project using the monogram of the week, and today was no different. I stitch it onto my sampler first...
...and then it's off to the sewing room to look over all my bits and pieces for a personal way to display this week's letter.
Armed with a lovely old doily that's been begging for a purpose, I rummaged through my well-loved box of French General fabrics for something blue, and unearthed a unused embroidery hoop from the bottom of the cupboard.
DMC # 930 thread was chosen, and twenty minutes later I had this as a layout...
Ten more minutes and it was beautifully finished!

Simple, sweet, personal.

Today's monogram ~I~ can be downloaded HERE.

Yesterday I finished the sixth block in my Daisy Days BOM!
...saturdaisy...

I have had many enquiries about this quilt pattern. It's wonderful that so many of you are eager to stitch it!
I still have two more blocks to hand embroider, but I've begun making the pieced blocks, that will also feature in the quilt, for some added fun...

I'm using a fat quarter bundle of Lori Holt's "Sew Cherry" for all the blocks and borders. I love it!

Now to answer some of your questions...

* Will it be available soon?

It will be ready in May.

* Will I be able to purchase it as a pdf?

Yes...with the option of a paper pattern for those who prefer BOM's that way.

* Will you have kits available?

No. But if you have a fat quarter bundle sitting on your shelf, or you have your eye on one, this will be all the fabric you need for the quilt top.

I promise to keep you updated as the release date gets closer!

I'm putting my feet up for the rest of the day and watching episodes of Midsomer Murders with Mr E, because tomorrow and Wednesday I have the final writing of Elefantz HOME to do before it's publication on Friday.
You still have time to subscribe - the cut off for this issue is midday on Thursday.
You can read all about HERE if you've missed the news.

 Have a blessed Easter Monday!
Hugs

Oh Saturdaisy is my favorite so far - Jenny these are SO inspired! They're actually giving me the urge to stitch again. I was beginning to think my mojo was gone forever - is it May yet?

Love what you did with the letter, you clever girl. Love you!

Oh Jenny, everything is so beautiful! I love Lori Holt's Sew Cherry fabric line, though I never did find any in my area (funny since she lives here in Utah)...but I do have some collected fat quarters that will work wonderfully with your new Daisy Days blocks. I can't wait for it to be available. Didn't you say there would be an iron on transfer in the BOM paper patterns? Or maybe that was wishful dreaming on my part, LOL. Big Hugs...

Thank you for the update on the Daisy BOM - I am one of those eagerly awaiting its publication! Even though I am in the USA, I am a HUGE Midsomer Murders fan - I have watched every season that Netflix has available and even have my husband hooked now too!
Can't wait until Friday - I am so happy the magazine is back too! You are my favorite designer/blogger!
