Block 3 ~ Lord's Prayer Stitchalong...

I'm sharing block 3 today, "which art in heaven"...

It's been a beautiful experience, to stitch this prayer. As it is broken up into 26 separate embroideries there is time during the stitching of each block to ponder the words Jesus gave us to pray.

If you prefer a different Bible translation or language to the one I am using you will find my alphabet in the pattern to trace your own preference.

How are you going with the blocks? Have you stitched the first two yet?
Nancy Jo sent me a photo of the fabrics and threads she will be using to make her version. Aren't they lovely?!

She has chosen fabrics from Laundry Basket Quilts, and threads from Cottage Garden. This will be beautiful when it's completed, Nancy Jo.

I'm off my feet at the moment with an injury just behind and below my right knee. Actually, I injured it about three weeks ago when Mr E and I were on our mini holiday in Cairns, but I thought it would be better by now.
Instead, it's gotten worse, so today I'm off to the doctor. Walking has become a nightmare. I'd really appreciate your prayers. xx

Naturally this means I'm getting a fair bit of hand stitching done, but no block piecing.
Who'd have imagined a few months back that I'd be missing the process of quilt making so much.
Times do change...

hugs

Aw, feel better!! love your stitchery. I haven't started it, but keep telling myself to get onboard, because I know I'm going to want it when I see the whole thing completed!! ;) Nancy Jo's colors are pretty, too.

I'm so excited that you have released another free block of the month. I working on three separate versions of your pattern (because I couldn't decide on just one fabric combo) and as soon as I get a few pictures of them I'll share them with you.
Sure hope your leg gets better and that it's nothing major. Until it's better ENJOY your stitching time.

Oh thank you so much for another piece of the pattern. Nancy Jo's fabric selection is beautiful. I still can't decide and when I went to the quilt store that made it worse. LOL Hope you heal quickly.

Thank you for part 3. I sure do hope the doctor can get your leg fixed up quickly. That is such a bummer that it hurts worse after that amount of time.

Sweet Jenny, It is amazing how much we miss doing our crafts when we are unable to work on them. I'm so sorry your hurting and unable to piece quilts. Please know I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for pain relief and healing. Keep us posted on how you are doing, when you feel up to it. Big, Big, Hugs....Nancy Jo

I forgot to tell you how beautiful block three is!!! I can't wait to get started on it, but as I told you in an email, things are now being put on the back burner until after my Grandson's wedding on 22 July. He proposed over a year ago and just two weeks later they had their date set, it seemed then that I had all the time in the world, well over a year...LOL. The joke was on me! More Hugs, and thank you so much for another beautiful design.

I'm sorry to hear about your pain in walking. I never realize how much I take for granted until suddenly, I can't do it! This is another beautiful section. Thank you so much for your generosity in this pattern, Jenny.

Hope your leg is alright. It seems to me after I hit 50 things took so much longer to heal and I have to be far gentler with myself giving them time to sort themselves out. Praying heaps.
