A year of gentle domesticity...

I'm still on a blogging break, but wanted to share with you a little of what will become the theme for Elefantz next year.

"a year of gentle domesticity"

It's all about making a home, wherever you are, with whatever you have, and with the people you
care about...

Stitching my new blog header for 2015 on beautiful washed-out lemon vintage table linen, complimented by some Lecien "Old New 30's" fabric...

Hope you're going to join me during my 'year of gentle domesticity'...

hugs

I look forward to this Jenny. That's a subject that has been on my heart for next year, too. Perhaps I'll think about adopting those words as my "words of the year." They would be a good anchor to Proverbs 31 during this year that will bring lots of changes including getting my first daughter-in-love and having my daughter home again after she graduates from college. Wonderful idea!

Hi Jenny,

I saw your comment on Rhonda's blog and went to your blog from there. Your stitchery just makes me smile from ear to ear. A year of gentle domesticity is the very thing I need after having a really hectic year last year. I find that I really miss being "housewifey" when I'm pulled in so many directions. I'll be coming back to visit your blog in the future.
