Block 2 'The Vintage Kitchen' - apron...

Yay! It's the beginning of the month and I have the next free block in "The Vintage Kitchen" BOM to share with you.
February's block is a sweet apron...

The free pattern is HERE to download.

Block 1 is still available as a free download in case you're new to Elefantz and would like to stitch along with this BOM...

I've sold out of all the kits, but if you're in Australia I still have a few pieces of the retro kitchen fabric available HERE on Etsy for purchase...
For those overseas who are after this print it's called "Home Ec", by Michael Miller from way back in 2009.

If you'd like to stitch this BOM is softer colours but aren't sure how it will look, you're going to love how my friend Fee has made this block!
She's chosen Tilda fabrics and a variegated thread...

I've seen a number of completed Block 1's (baking) popping up on Instagram, so if you're an IG gal and stitching these blocks each month use the hashtag #thevintagekitchen so I/we can find you.
You'll find me on IG as @jennyofelefantz

Don't forget, if you missed Block 1 it's still free to download HERE.

My block 1 and also Fee's pastel version...

I cannot tell you enough how incredibly grateful I am to those who voted for my in the 2015 Craftsy Blogger Awards. Photographing my designs for you to see close-up how to stitch them is a true delight for me, and now I've been awarded this generous endorsement to display here on my blog all year...thank you dear readers. xx

As the calendar has now flipped over to February I have removed a few patterns from my shop and replaced them with some new 'older' designs...

PLUS:

Throughout February you can purchase the full 6-pattern set of Holly Bird Designs for 40% off!
Originally $19.95, it's yours for only $11.95 until February 28th HERE in the shop as an instant pdf download...

Go HERE to see close up photos of all six projects in this set.
It's never too early to start stitching for Christmas is it?

  Have a fabulous Monday!
hugs

Hi Jenny, I am catching up with friends on this snowy cold day. Yesterday we had rain that turned to snow. We are in a winter advisory until latter this evening. The wind has been blowing and it is cold, but the driveway and steps have been cleared. I enjoy seeing what others are stitching. Have a great day. Your Friend Shirley@shirleystitches

Goodness me, Jenny. Where to start. Congratulations on the Craftsy award. You really did deserve it. Your pictures are amazing. The apron block is so sweet. I need to get started on my blocks. I'm determined to get this quilt done this year. I don't suppose I could get you to send me the fabric if I pay extra huge amounts of money for the postage? Okay, not playing by the rules....lol. The new embroideries in your Craftsy store are from before I found you. One of them I really want to make up for my daughter and her family. I'll be heading over to buy it next. It appears you have been very busy.
