Organizer tutorials in *HSWH* ideas...

I've been a little quiet recently due to a string of weather-triggered-migraines, and now there's a 'girlie' health issue that's giving me some discomfort.
Yesterday Mr E drove me to the beach at dawn, bought me a delicious soy mocha, and gave me a beautiful view to help me relax and unwind...then he drove me home and insisted I stay immobile and rested for the remainder of the weekend. Seriously, that man blesses me as I truly needed the rest.

With the laptop balanced on my knees and sitting comfortably on our bed, I went browsing for more *Homemade Stitched With Heartstrings* ideas we may find useful for our homes, gifts, or to save for future inspiration.
Hope you find one or two of the organizer ideas below catch your interest...

Kerryanne at  Shabby Art Boutique shares a simple tutorial HERE on her blog for a shabby chic style handbag roll (I am making this for me!)...

THIS sewing organizer tutorial by HandMadiya is the cutest thing!

Fancy making a useful Shower Organizer Caddy?
Head over HERE to So Sew Easy for the tutorial...

What about THIS first aid supplies organizer from Positively Splendid?!
I think this would be a great 'new car' gift for a teen or twenty-something to keep in the glove-box...

If you have little ones in your family that are easily bored on car trips consider making THIS Busy Bag from Infarrantly Creative...

Stuck for a gift you can make the young women in your family?
THIS tutorial by We All Sew for storing makeup brushes is pretty and useful...

Are you finding these *Homemade Stitched With Heartstrings* blog posts helpful for gift giving ideas?
Personally, my list of gifts to sew has lengthened and I intend spending next week making as many of them as I can in time to post away to family and friends who live far away.
Most of them are simple and quick to sew, like the makeup brush roll. Once made I can purchase an inexpensive set of brushes from a chain store to fill it, and then it's ready to go!
The same with the First Aid organizer. I'll head to the discount chemist and gather some first aid essentials to fill it - so easy, and very useful.

Have a blessed and crafty week,

Loving your "homemade with heartstrings" gift ideas. Have just made your Xmas Tea recipe seeing it needed to "socialise" for a month. Making the jar jacket now and really enjoying it all very much. Love the projects you have just shown us and think maybe I will make one for the makeup brushes. Thank you Jenny and take care.

Thank you Jenny for more great "Homemade with heartstrings" gift idea finds and for personal use too, as you say the list gets longer, such useful projects, too good to resist adding them to the to do list. Hope you feeling better, the rest certainly was fruitful along with the wonderful support of Mr E. Wishing you a great week ahead, Judithann :-)

Thank you Jenny for those excellent ideas. Hope you feel better soon, you may need to move to somewhere cooler if its heat related. Sadly if its female (age) related I can only commiserate with you and say I'm right there with you and hope it gets better soon. I'm coming back as a 'man' next time. Love Guida.

Thanks for all these links. I made some of those Busy Bags last Christmas for my G.nephew and G.nieces. But instead of using those zip lock type bags (which I think can be a bit flimsy for kids) I bought some A5 plastic see-through pouches with snaps/poppers and just sewed them in along the long edge. They turned out really well and I put fun items inside so they were ready to play with :)

Hope you're feeling better today x

Jenny, I am truly sorry that you have been facing the Big M's and other women's issues; yet it warmed my heart reading what Mr. E did for you! It is no wonder you fell in love with the caring man who stole your love. It is easy to overdo everyday, especially, during this time of the year. Try and take an hour for yourself everyday and just close your eyes and rest. I know it is not an easy thing to do when we fill there are all sorts of things that need to be done, but at least try. I have definitely added the Makeup Brush bag and the Shower Caddy to my gift making list. Both do appear so simple and easy to make, yet I know several who will love receiving this. Thank You for discovering all of these and for sharing the links! Have a wonderful creative day!

I hope you are feeling better Jenny. The weather really does give us grief doesn't it. We have some trees in front of our lounge that provide much needed shade but have little whit flowers that give me terrible headaches and hay fever I took to that tree with gusts and my Secaters yesterday and those suckers back. It was so satisfying. These organisers are wonderful and I think there is one for everyone on your list, however there is one more you should share it's the electronic cord roll with pouch. I'll try and find if and send you the link. Rest up sweetie

I made a prototype boxy pouch today so Miss H and I can made quite a few to give as presents with some homemade scrubs in. Not concentrating at times meant I broke 2 needles and cut one pouch design out sewed it up, changed my mind cut it up and started again! Ha! Good fun tho'.
Sorry you are not so well at the moment - good old Mr E. Hope you feel better soon.
