My splendid GIVEAWAY...

GIVEAWAY CLOSED
The winner was drawn on February 21st.
Thank you to everyone who entered!

It was all the way back here in May 2016 that I shared with you the "Blossoming" stitchery block I designed for the amazing Splendid Sampler project which has been running since early last year and only just came to a close with the 100th free block shared this week.

Over 80 designers from across the world collaborated together (secretly for many months before any of this project was public knowledge) guided by our co-pilots Jane Davidson and Pat Sloan who flew their brainchild and us through a wonderful adventure!

Now that the Splendid Sampler project has drawn to a close we're celebrating with giveaways!!

Some of the designers involved will be hosting their own giveaway via their blogs or social media and you'll find all that listed on the Splendid Sampler webpage on February 14th (USA time).

I'm joining in with that fun, but because I'm in Australia and it's already February 14th you can enter my giveaway a little earlier!

First of all, let me remind you that you can still download my free "Blossoming" stitchery block pattern HERE (and any of the other 99 Splendid blocks) until February 19th. They will be taken down after that date so don't miss out.
(information about a book available in April with all the blocks is on that site link)

Secondly, I shared a tutorial to make a needle-book a few months after my block was released and you can find it HERE. The tutorial will stay permanently on my blog and if you need it in the future a link can be found on my "Tutorials" page.

Now on to my giveaway!!

I wanted to make this giveaway relevant to the "Blossoming" block and as there was such a positive response to the little
needle-book finish of my design I thought a complete kit to make this needle-book might be a fun prize...

Here's my original "Blossoming" needle-book...

...and here is what the winner of my "Splendid" giveaway will receive in their "Blossoming"
Needle-book kit (everything, absolutely everything to make their own!).

I'll post worldwide so you can enter from anywhere.

RULES:

ONE entry only per person.

Leave a comment on this blog post (that is your entry).

Leave your email address in the comment if you are a 'no reply blogger' otherwise I cannot contact you and your entry will become invalid.

I will delete any duplicate entries, even the entries that say 'oops I forgot to leave my email address on the first entry'. If you forget to leave your email address on your comment, delete that comment yourself and then leave a new comment.

Please do not email me privately to enter this giveaway.
Comments left on social media are not entries.

The winner will be drawn randomly on my birthday, February 21st, and I'll announce the winner here on my blog.

Are you excited??!!

If you'd like to answer a question in your comment, just for fun, tell me what's your favourite dessert.
I need ideas, you see.

I'll leave you with a pic of the blocks I've made from those shared in the Splendid Sampler. Only 5% of the 100 blocks, I know...but stitchery design really is a very time consuming life for me.
However, I have a plan for those other four blocks in the photo and it's a good one. Maybe I'll have it ready to show you when I announce the giveaway winner?

big hugs,

What a lovely thing to give away Jenny!
That would be such a treasure! Such a learning journey to stitch!
My favourite dessert on special occasions ...single serving warm chocolate cake that when you break it open the warm not quite set pudding/filling flows out! Fresh raspberries on the side if possible!
On warm days.....fresh fruit served with something ginger flavoured!
When I just need a " fix" ...a good piece of pure chocolate!
On very cold days, we're at 0C now!,nothing beats apple crisp/crumble with warm custard!
Usually, on normal days we enjoy greek or turkish yogurt with honey from a local or regional bee keeper! We're so lucky to have quite a choice!
I hope there is something here that will help you with your dessert search!
Take care,

Guess I'll join the multitude who would love to win your charming needle book giveaway. You are so generous to offer such a prize. We rarely have dessert at my house (diabetic & overweight hubby), but I really do like an eggy bread pudding, heavy on the spices like Nana used to make. I'm not a blogger, so here's my email: swalker287 (at) aol (dot) com.

Jenny, what a lovely giveaway . Thank you . My favourite dessert...Now that's a difficult one - in the summer it's Eton Mess, but when weather is colder it's definitely a baked cheesecake...Mmmmmm.

Jenny that is such a beautiful giveaway. I love your colour choices and would love to make the needlebook so please pick me 😄. I am a Canadian living in New Zealand so we are only a "ditch" apart. Oh and my favourite dessert? Must be a "kiwi" pavlova with oven roasted fruit. My email is lorimackie@paradise.net.nz - happy valentines day ❤

Thankyou Jen for being so generous! I would love to be included in this wonderful giveaway. I'm sure you have my email, but just in case sharmshere@yahoo.com
Also just wanted to let you know I've shared a project on my blog that includes one of your little designs - I've linked back to your blog. Now as for dessert - Lemon Meringue, but I am loving lemon drizzle cake with ice cream just as much these days xo

Thank you Jenny for this lovely give away.
You have inspired me to try appliqué and I have been making gifts for people - tea towels. I have just been to Paris to visit my daughter who is working there. I designed and stitched a tea towel for her host family as a token of my thanks for taking such good care of my precious girl. This has been a comfort to me.
I have found a real joy and pleasure in stitching thanks to you Jenny. I also love reading your blog and the scriptures are a blessing too.
Thank you again for all you do. God bless you greatly xx

How generous of you to give away this lovely kit, Jenny. Now my favourite dessert...well when I was eating sugar pavlova was my favourite but now I would say mulberry cobbler is as we rarely eat dessert these days but it is nice and warming on a cold winter's day. When the mulberry tree is fruiting in spring we freeze a few packets to use during winter. The cobbler is nice with cream. Yum!

Jenny, I love the way that your faith is evident and shown in your stitchery! I think this is the cutest giveaway and would love to win it. Please add me to the list of entries. I am on a chocolate kick as of late so anything chocolate would be my choice for a dessert. If I had to pick I would say a Mississippi Mud cake would be nice. :) May God continue to bless and use you through your stitching! Debbie White

Wow! Look at all the comments on this blog today & no wonder, as its such a generous 'giveaway' Jenny, Thank you. It's still very much winter in UK at the moment and my favourite pudding for this time of year is bread and butter pudding, made with Panettone. Try it, it's delish! Thank you for your continued inspiration and stitching has now become one of my favourite pastimes. You also might be interested to know that after your recent post about lace I have 'dusted off' my old lace pillow and bobbins (of 30 years ago) and am re-discovering another 'new' world of peace and contentment. Oh what a lovely kit! I didn't do any of the blocks for this, as I'm not much of a sampler type person. But there are some great blocks! And yours is so sweet. I am not much of a dessert person, at least, I try not to be ;) But my favorite is apple/blackberry pie. Thank you for the great giveaway.
